Male underwear model competitions. Videos from Calvin Klein and UnderGear.
April 9th, 2010Male underwear model competitions take place once in a while when major brands want to create a buzz about their products or truly look for new talented underwear models.
I stumbled upon a couple of videos from major men’s underwear brands, UnderGear and Calvin Klein.
The videos display an endless number of male underwear models competing for the honor of representing the brands.
The first video from Calvin Klein is also the most recent (from March 2010). Thousands of model hopefuls submitted their photographs through the competition website at 9countries9men.com or attended in-store casting events, which took place in selected stores across Europe with branded pop-up photo studios.

Over 3,000 successful applicants made it to the judging process, and one finalist from each of the nine countries was chosen by a panel of judges. Watch the video to see what some of these contestants had to offer…
The second video is an oldie but goldie from 2008. Here, a string of potential UnderGear models compete to grace the cover of an UnderGear catalog and a cover and fashion spread in Instinct Magazine. The guys wear mainly some gorgeous low rise briefs, circa 2008.
