Men’s underwear trends 2010: Back to the 90s!? Too soon…

2010 is still young, but we have been seeing some general trends among the different men’s underwear brands. One major trend has been the introduction of the many new bright-colored underwear collections.
That I like.
Now I feel a disturbance in the force… Some men’s underwear brands seem to be looking to the color trends of the 90s for inspiration.
This really doesn’t work for me. Maybe in time it will, but for now…not so much.
Case: Bruno Banani Funtasy Collection
All the colors of the rainbow exploded all over the newest collection by Bruno Banani. I immediately get flashbacks to some similarly colored tracksuits, which I wore in the 90s. Oh, the horror.
Anyway, what do you think about the Funtasy men’s underwear collection – hit or miss?
Case: 2xist Camo
Via Daily Jocks my attention was directed to the new 2xist Camo men’s underwear line.
Camo, really? The first thing I think of are bad Jean Claude Van Damme movies. I don’t know… I think this pattern has run its course. But who am I to judge?
