Cocksox CX12 Boxer Brief – A review
The review of the CX12 Boxer Brief is the second and last (so far) in my Cocksox review series.
Remember to also check out my review of the insanely enhancing CX03 brief.
I’m actually glad that I get a chance to review the Cocksox CX12 because of its slightly more subtle enhancement functionality (compared to the CX03 brief).
But don’t kid yourself, the CX12 boxer brief actually comes equipped with the type of pouch as the CX03. You will get the extra lift but without the attention-grabbing pointy profile which was the case with the CX03.
It’s also nice that Cocksox has a few boxer brief cuts available for guys who are looking for that lift but really don’t dig the bikini brief style.
With that said, let’s get on with the review :)
Style
Cocksox calls this style the CX12 Boxer. I’d like to elaborate a little on that. In fact this styles is probably best labeled as a low rise short boxer brief or a regular trunk. In my view the legs are long enough for guys who usually wear traditional boxer briefs to feel comfortable in a pair of CX12 boxer briefs.
Overall I actually think this one of the better trunk/boxer brief designs I’ve seen in a while – its understated design (single color, regular-sized waistband) is contrasted and complemented by the signature pouch. If you’re looking for profile-enhancing men’s underwear to wear on a regular all-day basis, the Cocksox CX12 boxer could be a great place to start.

Pouch design
As was the case with the CX03, the CX12 boxer is equipped with the Cocksox™ ORIGINAL pouch. Go check out the review of the CX03 brief to read more about the different pouch designs Cocksox underwear is available with.
Now, even though the pouch has the same amount of room for your stuff, the bulge you will achieve with the CX12 boxer does come off as a little less “pointy” than was the case with its brief cousin. If you’re concerned with attracting too much attention at the gym or similar “public” venues, the CX12 can be a good choice.
You’ll look impressive, no doubt, but the fact that this style has longer legs does spread the attention to places other than just the pouch area.
Back design
The back and legs of the CX12 properly designed, covering up what needs to be covered. If you want to be sure not to have to pull out your underwear from between the butt cheeks, this is the cut for you. The legs also stay firmly in place and didn’t ride up at any point during the time I wore them.
Waistband
Same as with the the CX03, the CX12 has a well-proportioned waistband, measuring 1,2 inches in width. I wore the black boxer brief which had a black waistband is in the same color as the rest of the brief with the characteristic Cocksox logo imprinted front and center in a contrasting gray color.
A product information patch is stitched on the inside rear of the boxer brief. The stitching is well done and you won’t notice the patch at all.
Fabric quality
The Cocksox CX12 is made from Cocksox’ signature fabric blend, consisting of 92% Supplex and 8% Lycra blend. Go to the review of CX03 to read more about this particular fabric composition and its main characteristics. Again I have to stress how soft and comfortable the fabric felt while providing just the right amount of stretch. Well done.
Color
The black variant of the CX12 that I wore is called Carbon black. The CX12 is also available in blue (Power blue) and white (Quartz White – pictured above). I like the black variant as the color emphasizes the subtle nature of the boxer brief, which is a nice contrast to the overall hardcore purpose of profile-enhancement which the CX12 was made for.
Fit
I wore a size M for a 32″ waist, and I found no need to size up or down. A super fit.
Price
The Cocksox CX12 brief is US $28, which is an acceptable price level for profile-enhancing underwear like this. You can even get a 2-pack for US $51. Shipping to the US is just US $6.

Great review as always Jay. I have to say I’m really glad that Cocksox have bought out the CX12 design because whilst the CX03 is undoubtedly impressive in terms of the enhancing qualities that it provides, it does have the drawback that the “pointy” pouch design is going to put off a lot of guys who just want some natural looking enhancement.
