Guys' Underwear Blog

Baskit is probably the men’s underwear brand that’s been buzzed the most about on the underwear blogs this week. Following some apparently successful days at the Magic convention (a show for underwear buyers), Baskit got some serious attention on all the major men’s underwear blogs.

Most of the buzz was brought on by a funny little behind-the-scenes video of a photo shoot for their underwear collections, WonderWear and Baskit Light. The video, which made its way to such prominent blogs as Menswear Review, Your Daily Briefs, and UndiesDrawer, was released on Baskit’s Facebook page.

Baskit is a very proactive men’s underwear brand when it comes to online marketing, and these guys are among the men’s underwear manufacturers that are the most active on Facebook and Twitter. This fact as well as their use of video and creative photo art work earn them a spot in the limelight on my underwear blog as well.

Before I get to the video, however, I want to take the time to applaud the artwork for the new WonderWear and Baskit Light collections.

Baskit WonderWear and Light Collections
Now, the video is apparently featuring the new Spring 2010 men’s underwear collections by Baskit. It features a photo shoot done by Hardcastle Photography, and via UndiesDrawer (good job, guys!), I found some of the art work that was the result of the photo shoot.

The underwear featured in the photos include briefs and boxer briefs in both dimmed and bright colors. The pictures look amazing, and the color filters used accentuate the underwear perfectly.

I especially like the way the blue pair of Baskit briefs are illustrated. It gives a realistic picture of how the briefs will shape your assets. The model’s package is not over-sized, padded, or manipulated. And somehow this lack photo manipulation, which is also practiced in the second photo, really works.

As for when these collections will be released, we’ll have to wait and see. I visited the Baskit website and couldn’t find any information on the styles, however, they do mention the WonderWear collection on Facebook.
