David Beckham has done it – created his own line of men’s underwear together with Swedish fashion retailer H&M.

Now, Christiano Ronaldo too will team up with a Scandinavian fashion maker to design his very own range of men’s underwear. Danish underwear maker JBS, is the lucky brand who snatched up the soccer star. If you don’t know JBS, you can read our bio on the brand here. Fun fact – the brand recently also launched a celebrity underwear range with tennis starlet, Caroline Wozniacki.

Is is just us, or does Ronaldo seem to do everything Beckham does? First, Beckham became an Armani underwear model. Not long after, Ronaldo too graced Armani underwear ads everywhere.

And now this.

We shall not complain. All we hope now is that fellow sports super star and Armani underwear model, Rafael Nadal, will make the same move into men’s underwear fashion.

Anyway, according to JBS, Ronaldo will be deeply involved in the design and production of the underwear range, which will include several types of undies and socks. The plan is that Ronaldo will release a new range every year.

We can’t wait to see what he has in store for us. Though we liked Beckham’s H&M undies, they never really rocked our world as much as we had hoped. For that, they were simply too mainstream.

We’ll let you guys know when we know more about the release date for the Ronaldo undies.

For now, we’ll have to suffice with what we’ve seen so far from the Portuguese soccer god.
