Today I get to introduce something edgy and fun to you. Smuggling Duds is the British designer of Stash Pants – boxer briefs with unique patterns and a useful stash pocket. This brand focuses on guys with attitude; their underwear is worn by DJs as well as athletes from mixed martial arts to skateboarders and Motocross. And although they offer several attention-grabbing patterns, Stash Pants are also available in solid colors.
The stash pocket is a pretty useful component of the boxer briefs. It’s located just to the left of the button fly and sized so that it can accommodate money, credit cards, condoms or keys. Sure it would come in handy at an underwear party, but it’s even more useful when you want to be absolutely sure that no one can pickpocket you. So now that Stash Pants have been invented I hope that no one will ever need to buy a fanny pack (or something similar) to store their money when they’re on holiday/vacation.
So what are they like to wear? Well, the fabric is 95% cotton and 5% elastane, so they offer the comfort of cotton and a little stretch. They’re somewhat roomy, so if you like something form-fitting (as I do), then order a size smaller than you normally would.
I usually don’t wear eye-catching patterns, so I’m going to get more use out of the solid color (black, white, gray, red, orange) boxer briefs, but I think their unique patterns, which include Samurai, Star Spangled and Union Jack, are pretty cool and definitely make a statement. In addition to the pocket and patterns, some of the other distinctive features include a 2-button fly and a waistband with the SD logo.
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with these and will definitely wear them.
|Style and look?||Boxer briefs with unique patters (and also solids) and a useful pocket.|
|Suitable for?||Suitable for everyday wear, from the office to the gym. When you want to be noticed, wear one of their patterns.|
|Fit and quality?||The fit is roomy, so if you want something more form-fitting order one size smaller. The fabric and construction are of good quality.|
|Is the price right?||They’re appropriately priced. They’re normally £18 to £20, but as of the day I’m writing this, their solid colors are on sale for £7.50.|
|Best thing about it?||I need to list two things here…the stash pocket and the cool patterns.|
