Let’s gear up for the weekend by feasting our eyes on these newest introductions by GUB favorite, N2N Bodywear.
Made of 90% rayon / 10% spandex for great softness and stretch, the American underwear maker offers their brand new Vintage Underwear in seven different styles, including a jockstrap, g-string, slingshot, bikini, brief, trunk and boxer, each designed with an enhance contour pouch for added support and fit. Every piece is individually pigment dyed for a unique vintage look and feel.
And just before we move on to the pictures, here’s the basic information you need to get your hands on these hotties: A Vintage brief is $23 USD and you can get that and the entire range of other Vintage cuts over at www.n2nbodywear.com.
Have a great weekend, guys – and enjoy the pics.
While summer is raging on, thankfully our schedule here at GUB have quieted down a bit allowing us to take a tour around the web and discover under brands we have never previously encountered.
One such new brand is British FCLOCO.
FCLOCO find their inspiration in this football (i.e. soccer) decade. Their aim is to combine the love for the beautiful game and stylish fashion. Inspired by the history and global influence of football/soccer, FCLOCO presents football as a lifestyle. Specifically, the brand offers a range of boxer briefs in various soccer-related print designs starting at around $27 USD.
You can check our the entire range over at: www.subsidesports.com.
So if you’re into the sports thing, this could be a fun edition to your underwear drawer. Now all we need is for FCLOCO to add more cuts to their range, including briefs!
Anyway, one thing that we really applaud about FCLOCO is their approach to their production supply chain. They care about the social circumstances of the people who grow the cotton used for the underwear. They work with so-called SA8000 certified factories and factories in low-risk production countries. SA8000 (Social Accountability 8000) is a certification standard designed to help companies manage workplace conditions throughout a global supply chain.
The standard is based on the primary international workplace rights contained within the International Labour Organisation conventions, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Well done, FCLOCO.
If you’re a regular follower of GUB, you will know that we are not tremendous fans of the old-fashioned boxer shorts. To sum up our views on this particular style of underwear, we typically find it too baggy, unflattering, and unsupportive. There – we’ve said it. We are briefs/trunks/boxer briefs guys at the heart.
However, once in a while an underwear brand manages to come up with a – dare we say it – interestingly new spin on the old boxer short. And so was the case when we came across Croota‘s new range of boxer shorts called “Traveller”.
Now, you might claim that Croota aren’t exactly reinventing the boxer short with the Traveller range, but the print designs are fresh and the bold, attention-grabbing waistbands are a breath of fresh air. Combined with Croota’s traditional low-rise cut and the noticably longer, slimmer leg of this style, the Traveller boxer provides just a bit more definition and flexibility.
So there you have it – a pair of boxer shorts that we don’t hate. That’s an achievement in itself :)
Croota’s “Traveller” boxers retail for $21.90 USD, and are available at www.croota.com.
