Singlet underwear: Will 2012 be the break-through year? See our favorite styles!
April 17th, 2012We admit it. We are crazy singlet fans here at Guys’ Underwear Blog. Just check out our singlet underwear category and see for yourself.
I’m not sure what it is about these things… Thery’re tight-fitting, sexy and with a clear connotation to the world of athletics. And it’s been so refreshing to see the singlet style pop up as a standard underwear style from so many brands like ES Collection, N2N, Rufskin, and many more.
Anyway, the other day I dropped by The Underwear Expert which is an amazing new men’s underwear news site headed by Freshpair creator, Michael Kleinmann, i.e. the underwear industry’s equivalent to Master Yoda. They’d put together a cool gallery of some the hottest current singlets. You should check it out.
When I later that same day received an e-mail from Jockstrap Central promoting a saucy see-through singlet, it made me want to also share with you some of my favorite singlet looks.

Guys in underwear (and socks) – Barcode Berlin
October 24th, 2011So bare with us with this post, as the focus of the Barcode Berlin photo spread below is actually their new sock ranges, “Football” and “City”
But they are clever, these Barcode guys. Because they put the socks on male underwear models wearing sexy (and skimpy) underwear and sportswear. We love the wrestling singlet!
Indeed with these pictures, Barcode Berlin manages to persuade us that socks can be sexy. And appropriate, too.
Winter is coming. If you’re like the rest of us who like to run around the house in just our underwear, these new sock lines might be just be the perfect accessory for those days when it gets a little chilly, even inside.

N2N 2011 men’s underwear range – behind the scenes video, part 3
June 17th, 2011Happy Friday, guys!
N2N Bodywear keeps teasing us with these behind the scenes video clips.
We’ve already shown you the first and second videos from the infamous 2011 photo shoot that featured some of N2N’s most sexy styles including sports briefs, jockstraps, running tights/pants as well as those erotic singlets (I need to attend more wrestling games if this is what they’re wearing!).
I even think I saw some swimwear in the video as well… Most likely the end result was the stunning promo shots released back in April.
And it seems being a male underwear model isn’t just champaign, free undies and big paychecks. These guys work hard for their cash. In one day these guys had to pose in 210 different items.
That’s a lot of posing!
Well, from the final shots we have to say the models did a great job.

Here’s how you do it, Tim Tebow!
April 16th, 2011While hordes of men’s underwear fans around the world are still recovering from the Jockey underwear model star disappointment that is Tim Tebow, the otherwise renowned undies brand just got regained some plus points in our book with their latest promotion video.
When it comes to Jockey, though, we can’t stay disappointed too long. After all, this is the company that invented the modern brief!
Anyway, Jockey Underwear recently celebrated 135 years in the industry with its first stunning International Catwalk show at the Hospital Club in London.
Members of Europe’s fashion elite and media were in attendance to watch the brand head back to its roots, showcasing heritage pieces from when the company began in 1876, right through to a preview of some of Jockey’s most stylish collections for A/W 2011.
My guess is we won’t be seeing Tim wearing any of these “stylish” collections, either.
Jockey, go for someone like Michael Phelps next time. He’s got what it takes to beat the Nadals and Ronaldos out there.

ES Collection Underwear Video – New 2011 Xtreme Collection
December 9th, 2010Today’s blog post is the final installment in my series on the new ES Collection underwear ranges.
This video takes you behind the scenes of the photo shoot for ES Collection’s new 2011 Xtreme collection, scheduled for release in a few months.
It’s a diverse range including both briefs, long underwear, and a very hot singlet!! These singlet styles pop up once in a while, and I’m always weirdly fond of them… What do you think, hot or not?
