Modus Vivendi continue to dominate the airwaves here on GUB as we clear the stage for their all new Painter underwear collection celebrating colour, fashion and summer. Don’t forget to also check out yesterday’s post featuring the Shepard underwear range.
The Painter in the pictures below is male underwear model, Iraklis Kozas.
One of the new items from this line is the Eighties Bodywear. This wrestling singlet (/mankini) is inspired by 80s fashion with a design that features a slim v-shape front and back for extra freedom during workouts. An extra “quick release” feature with two press studs at the bottom of the garment can save you vital seconds in the changing room – or anywhere else where a quick release is needed…
Modus Vivendi has added this sexy wrestling singlet to its range of activewear by popular demand.
The line also includes the sexy C-through, Plain Mini Brief, Bon Bon Mini Brief ranges and the masculine Front Pocket briefs and boxers which are among the best selling underwear of the brand.
Briefs from this line will typically set you back a reasonable $25 USD. You can check out the entire Painter line over at e-modusvivendi.com.
Enjoy the pics guys!
It’s Modus Vivendi time!
The Greek brand recently released their Shepherd Line from their Retro Greece collection with pictures of model Stefanos Papadopoulos as Modus Vivendi’s sexy shepherd.
The new line features items such as the men’s corset (along with the briefs, boxers and jocks that go with it) in the brand’s natural colour. The line also includes bermuda style shorts, muscle vest style tank tops, T-shirts and longsleeved shirts, the unique design natural pants (loose leisure wear/bodybuilding baggies) and of cource our stylish jockstraps, briefs and boxers.
But best of all, we have the pictures and the video for you guys to enjoy.
And don’t forget to head over to www.e-modusvivendi.com to shop for these delicious undies.
This time the line is once again themed around a classic line of occupation – the Stablehand. It certainly has a sort of erotic ring to it, huh?
And we will say that this probably is one of the most daring and underwear fashion-innovating lines of men’s underwear we have seen in a long time.
It’s all there – underwear with built-in suspenders, man-girdle-brief hybrids, singlets, jockstraps, and luckily for brief fans like us – yes, the regular brief style is also there.
For reference, the briefs are $34.62 USD. Get them over at e-modusvivendi.com.
Enjoy the pics and video.
Every now and then we are sent pictures of up-and-coming male underwear models. And we are more than happy to share their pics with you guys.
Today it’s our pleasure to introduce you to the model Jaime Abella. And to our delight, in these pics he’s wearing some of our all-time favorite underwear brands, like 4Skins, AMU, Andrew Christian, AussieBum and Modus Vivendi.
The pictures are amazing, and Jaime is obviously talented at what he does, but it takes a highly skilled photographer to make it all come together. Andrés Ramírez is that man and you can check out more of his work over at www.andres-ramirez.com.
Enjoy the pictures guys, and have a great week!
Few brands offer the extensive range of styles as Modus Vivendi. And because it’s been over a year since we’ve reviewed any of their products, we thought it was time to check in with them and let you know about some of their briefs.
For this review we checked out three styles:
Pure Brief – As the name implies, you won’t find much extraneous styling, coloring or branding on this brief. It’s available in just a few basic, solid colors (white, gray and black) and the only branding is a small tag sewn onto the front left hip. But there are still some interesting features like an elastic waistband that’s covered in soft cotton and a pouch that provides just the right amount of room and support. I found this brief to be comfortable, flattering and good for everyday wear.
Army Brief – There are two main distinguishing features of this brief. One is the large label sewn into the front of the two-inch wide waistband. To me, it’s reminiscent of the waistband on the trunks of a heavyweight boxer. And the second main feature is unique fly, which has a horizontal opening.
The fabric is 100% ribbed cotton, which is two-ply on the pouch and a sexy, thin, single-ply everywhere else. I tried a solid white pair, but they’re also available in blue, khaki and camouflage.
Strip Brief – The most colorful of the three pair, The Strip Brief features a tri-color waistband, a solid color fabric on the body of the garment and accent colors at on the elastic leg openings and front piping. Made from comfortable material that’s 93% cotton and 7% elastin, these low-rise briefs are a great choice for everyday wear.
|Style and look?||Three unique styles of briefs.|
|Suitable for?||They’re all comfortable enough for everyday wear.|
|Fit and quality?||Quality materials and construction. Supportive fit.|
|Is the price right?||The Pure Brief is $24.15, The Army Brief is $30.19 and the Strip Brief is $24.55. These prices are somewhat on the high end of the spectrum, but they reflect the quality fabric and construction.|
|Best thing about it?||The best thing about these briefs is that variety. Each item contains different and unique features.|

It’s MV time again, guys. And you know you’ve missed them. So here’s another chapter from their ongoing retro underwear campaign, based on classic lines of occupation.
Modus Vivendi released just two new lines just in time for Christmas. The Farmer line includes twelve new items all of them featuring a new waistband with transparent stripes and evolutionary underwear design specifically made to boost your “confidence” like no other underwear can. They come in three different cuts; briefs, boxers and jocks and four colors, classic black and white, royal blue and hot red. And FYI, a pair of Farmer briefs start around $30.45 USD.
The other line, Tailor, we will introduce you to tomorrow.
One more update from our our favorite Greek brand. Their hot hot hot Calendar for 2013 is out featuring twelve hot pictures, each one representing a profession from their Retro Greece campaign for 2013. The Calendar is €15 and can be bought here e-modusvivendi.com/gbu0-prodshow/2013_calendar.html.

Following up on our post featuring the awesome Modus Vivendi Dyer pics, here’s the second batch of pics released this month by the Greek underwear pioneer.
This time the inspiration for the pics comes from the ancient world of fishermen. The highlights of the Fisherman collection include the outstanding fetish-like latex jockstrap and bodysuit.
FYI, Modus Vivendi Fisherman briefs are around $59 USD and the jockstrap is around $50 USD. Get these sexy undies over at e-modusvivendi.com.
