ES Collection 2013 swim wear pictures. Part 2/2.
It’s the second part of our massive coverage of the 2013 men’s swim wear range from ES Collection.
We’ve gathered some of the most amazing pics from the Spanish underwear and swim wear brand’s “El Hierro” campaign.
The Spanish brand, specialized in swimwear, underwear and sportswear for men, traveled with its whole team to the island called “El Hierro” for four intense days to capture the spectacular images below.
ES Collection worked closely with the council of the island and the tourism office with the purpose of displaying the images in the most remote and spectacular landscapes of El Hierro. Besides of having the luxury of having the campaign made in such beautiful scenarios, the brand served its purpose to support and promote internationally the tarnished image of the island after volcanic eruption.
Such intense scenery! It sure makes for a breathtaking backdrop – although the most amazing features of these photos are – of course – the amazing swim wear.
Enjoy, and head over to www.escollection.es to shop.

Possibly the hottest ES Collection video yet. Including pics.
We know, we know. We share a lot of ES Collection contents here on GUB.
But seriously, guys… how can we not!? Just look at this latest swim wear promo video that the Spanish underwear super brand released a few days ago. Wow. Just wow.
And not just for the obvious reasons (the guys are über hot), but – of course – because we just LOVE the swim wear design trends that ES Collection are conveying with their latest collections.
Make sure you watch the clip all the way through. About halfway through you’ll see the 1322 ISLA MARGARITA SQUARE BRIEF (also pictured below). That is the hottest swim wear item we’ve seen in a very long time. The use of clips in both sides of the swim brief is sexy, revealing – and practical (for multiple reasons).
With the 2013 campaign baptized “El Hierro” the new range of swimwear is characterized by high quality materials, unique design and fluor colors. In a few words, a collection unsuitable for shy people. It also incorporates its two worldwide patents, the solar tattoo and the Pack-up system in several of its models.
“In my opinion, the word that better describes this wonderful collection is AWESOME, with no doubt the best one by far“, says Eduardo Suñer, ES collection Product Manager.
“The result of combining the “Mars style” landscapes with stunning models and colourful designs probably made this campaign the best ever so far” says Joan Crisol, official photographer of the firm.
Oh, we agree.
Ahh, summer can’t come soon enough. Go to the ES Collection web shop to check out the 2013 swimwear range.

m8mate “River” swim wear range. See the many pics.
With a slight delay due to the fact that the GUB team is still on vacay, here’s the third installment of our m8mate swim wear series.
A short recap – we are taking a closer look at some eastern European swim wear goodies from Ukrainian, m8mate. Today’s feature is the their 2013 River range.
The reason for the swim wear focus this week is the fact that we see too many guys wearing eye-hurting bad swim suits on beaches across the world (not you guys, of course).
So, if you know anyone who could stand to upgrade their swim wear wardrobe – please direct them to this post.
Enjoy the pictures and head over to m8mate.com or the m8mate Facebook page to see more.

More m8mate 2013 swim wear pictures. And Happy New Year!
Happy New Years to all you underwear and swim wear lovers across the world.
As 2013 is coming to an end we’d like to thank all of you guys for supporting GUB in the past year. The entire GUB team looks forward to keep bringing you reviews, pictures, news, and videos from the world of men’s underwear in 2013.
Anyway, let’s celebrate this last night of the year with more sizzling m8mate pictures. As you may have noticed, the other day we started a short campaign of swim wear education to the men out there who still run around in saggy old board shorts or worn-out speedos.
Let us repeat this: Oversized board shorts and faded, generic speedos will do just fine on the beach and by the pool. Said no one. Ever.
Therefore, we are happy to share a set of photos featuring the m8mate Pool swim wear range, which shows that you can look sexy in a classic cut swim brief. This style is neither too low-rise, nor is it ridden with loud print designs. It’s understated and vintage-looking, and it will look good on men of most sizes. All that matters is that you wear it with pride.
Once again – Happy New Years, guys. Enjoy the pictures and head over to m8mate.com or the m8mate Facebook page to see more.

Major m8mate 2013 swim wear picture post. Part 1.
Y’all remember the exquisite Ukrainian underwear brand, m8mate, which we first introduced you to about a year and a half ago?
Well, here at GuysUnderwearBlog.com we are actually on holiday at the moment, enjoying the sunny beaches of Thailand. And we see too many guys wearing boring, out-of-date swim wear.
A Ukrainian follower of GUB then kindly reminded us that m8mate currently has some seriously great-looking swim styles. And we decided to use this as an opportunity to teach the world a valuable lesson about men’s swim wear. Why look bland and generic, when you can look cool and dignified like these guys below?
Therefore, over the next couple of days we will share with you some of m8mate’s new swim wear pics (there are loads), starting with the Marina range.
Enjoy the pics and head over to m8mate.com or the m8mate Facebook page to see more.

Longing for summer: New swim wear range from 2wink Australia. See the pics.
Are you like us? Longing for a summer climate? Well, we’ve got a short mental getaway for you.
Iconic Aussie underwear brand 2wink Australia are heating things up in the southern hemisphere by adding two new ranges of swimwear briefs to its summer collection, entitled “40 Degrees & 38 Degrees”. That’s 104 & 100 Fahrenheit for those of us in the US. Once again the new ranges highlight a removable “Bulge Booster” pouch substituting for those cold water moments.
And to get that mental getaway going for ya, check out the pics below.
The “38 Degrees” range has two front square colored panels one of cool blue and the other of white with opposite coloured leg trims. To bring to light the rear, matching cool blue snugs the behind. Heating things up to “40 Degrees” 2wink replaced the cool blue panel with a sizzling hot peach. Both designs have a draw-string neatly hidden inside and centred to the waistband. Each pair includes the “Bulge Booster” foam mould that can be inserted into or removed from the inside pocket in the front pouch. Branding the design and nicely positioned to the front is the Company’s rubber logo.
The ranges were shot at popular Australian beach, Cottesloe in Western Australia, Headquarters of 2wink on a warm Aussie summer’s day. “We were in the middle of the shoot when the crew of the Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club came to investigate a growing crowd. Before the crew knew it, we had them posing next to the models with much excitement” says 2wink Australian co-owner Carl McNeill. “The girls and the guys from the Surf Life Saving Club enjoyed having their photo taking with the models and it added a buzz to an already hot summers day”
The 100% Aussie-made 40 Degrees & 38 Degrees swimsuits are made from the finest imported Italian Nylon. The physique-showcasing swim briefs are fully lined to the front. Each swimsuit retails for around $54.95 AUD (free worldwide shipping), and are available exclusively online at www.2wink.com.au.
For more information about 2wink Australia, please visit www.2wink.com.au.

It’s here! Our 2012 ES Collection swim wear guide. Part 1: Briefs and trunks.
The wait is over, guys! It’s finally here – our official guide to the hottest ES Collection swim wear of 2012.
We do this guide every year. And get this, it’s not something they ask us to. We are simply avid fans of the high-end Spanish brand. And while we LOVE their underwear, we are crazy fans of their huge and ever-growing swim wear collection.
The ES guys have got it all figured out – great cuts, smoking designs, and intelligent bulge-enhancing features.
This year’s introductions are no exception. ES Collection have so many thrilling news in the swim wear department that we had to split up our guide into two parts.
First up we have swim briefs and trunks for those of you who are into the sexy, tight, olympic-like look.
And who are we kidding – we’re all into the look.
So, we crawled through ES Collection’s ENTIRE collection of briefs and trunks and found our 3 favorite styles – and tried them out.
They didn’t disappoint.
So without further ado, here’s our 3 favorite briefs and trunks:
Swim brief #1: 1127 BARCELONA 2012 EDITION
Made from a standard 80% Nylon and 20% Spandex fabric blend, this brief is classic ES complete with their signature curves of the sides of the briefs and color contrasting. The fit is absolutely superb, and we adore the external drawstring. The drawstring detailing is very hot this season, and ES Collection does this feature better than most. We like the balanced, not-overly-wide waistband and the subtle ES logo – both giving this brief a mature and adult look.
The key feature, though, is the padded pouch. The swim brief comes with a foam mould that can be inserted into or removed from an inside pocket in the front pouch. This means that it’s up to you to decide which days you want the extra padding. And it’s very tastefully done, too. Not too-in-your-face obvious padding, but a slight, discrete enhancement.
The 1127 BARCELONA 2012 EDITION swim brief $81.25, and you can get it over at www.escollection.es.
Swim brief #2: 1218 QATAR I
The Qatar brief has not only an exotic name, but an exotic and exclusive look and feel. Like the previous swim brief, this, too, is made of 80% Nylon and 20% Spandex. It has less curves and more of a clean and classic, square box, 60′s look.
Defining details include a posh metal button and a twist with the the string positioned on the left side of the brief front, rather than in the middle. In short, it’s elegant and simple with a great fit and the same pouch enhancement features as the Barcelona brief.
And don’t just take our word for it – the Qatar swim brief has been the #1 selling swim brief for ES Collection!
By the way, it’s gorgeous in white. And don’t worry, it won’t turn see-through when you take it into the water.
Get it over at www.escollection.es. It’s $81.35 USD.
Swim trunk: 1210 UNITED STATES
Of course, sometimes you need to shake things up. Why not switch the brief look to a more mainstream, manly trunk look? A swim trunk can enable you to blend in more on beaches that may not be too speedo-friendly.
ES Collection has the perfect option for this scenario – the United States swim brief.
Same fabric as the two briefs above, but this trunk has an even cleaner look than the Qatar brief. No strings here, just a clever button solution as part of the waistband.
However, you don’t want a look that’s too clean or mainstream. So, take our advice and get the United States swim brief in a some bright contrasting colors, like in the pictures below (color code 320).
The United States swim trunk is $93.75 USD. Get it over at www.escollection.es.
That’s it for today guys!
Stay tuned! Because tomorrow we have 3 more hot ES Collection swim wear styles to present to you from the shorts category.
