A few weeks ago I posted a video snippet featuring the autumn/winter 2010 collection by Columbian men’s underwear brand, Gigo.
I thought you guys might also enjoy some still shots of some of Gigo’s signature designs (all shot in a soccer setting), courtesy of Underwear Station.
Funky colors, fun patters, and bold cuts – that’s what Gigo seems to be all about.
FYI, a pair of Gigo briefs will set you back US $25-30.
Check it out guys, I found a great HD video presenting the brand new autumn/winter 2010 collection by Columbian men’s underwear brand, Gigo. The your typical behind the scenes clip from a recent Gigo photo shoot.
Columbia has fostered a handful of talented underwear designers over the last few years. In that club, which also include famous brands like Mundo Unico and Clever Moda, Gigo is almost a veteran, having been around since 2004.
With their new autumn/winter collection Gigo stay true to their signature design philosophy which centers around bright colors and fun and playful print designs.
Gigo is a mid-to-premium brand, and a typical pair of briefs will set you back US $25-30. Check them out over at Skivvies.
The styles showed in the video include trunks, briefs, jockstraps, and thongs.
Gigo men’s underwear is a Columbian brand that I stumbled upon some time ago and today I took a look at their current collection, and I really liked what I saw.

Gigo Underwear for Men – A youthful high-end brand
Founded in 2004, Gigo is part of the new generation of niche underwear manufacturers that have been springing up over the last decade. These men’s underwear brands have a real shot at success because a) they can achieve widespread distribution via the Internet, and b) they successfully influence the underwear fashion trends by introducing many new styles, print designs, and so on.
Gigo is quite skillful when when it comes to popping, bright colors and fun print designs. The Gigo underwear items really come off as playful, youthful and as a classic fashion (premium) brand with most of their styles costing around $25 per pair (You can get most of their styles at Skiviez).
The styles carried by Gigo include (low-rise) trunks, briefs, jockstraps, thongs & G-strings, as well as men’s swimwear.
Be trendy with Gigo
As you can see from the pictures below, Gigo is well in line with the trend of bright neon-like colors that is influencing the men’s underwear fashion scene at the moment. Also, I think their print designs are almost up there with the best of them (with Ginch Gonch and especially Piss & Vinegar taking the top spot in that category).
The pictures are from their current collection, which is also featured in the two videos. The videos showcase a 2009 Gigo underwear photo shoot featuring an abundance of the styles and designs you can currently buy online.
Oh, and remember to check back in tomorrow when I review the new men’s underwear collection by Skiviez called “Boast” (which this underwear certainly does).
