David Beckham’s newest H&M underwear photo shoot

Actually, this is hardly news anymore, but David Beckham continues to release new promo pics of his H&M bodywear range.
The pics are fine (not Armani hot, but we’ll take it). Luckily, the underwear is great – especially the trunks. And of course the soccer star’s bodywear range contains a long list of other items such as t-shirts and other loungewear styles.

David Beckham Bodywear Trunks: An Xpress Review by Guys’ Underwear Blog

David Beckham Bodywear is a range of boxer briefs, trunks and briefs – available in black, white or gray – that can only be purchased at H&M. If you’ve seen the television commercial, which features an incredibly fit Mr. Beckham wearing nothing but his underwear, you probably understand why I’ve been looking forward to reviewing the products. Of course, he’d probably look fantastic no matter what he wore, so I wanted to get a pair and see for myself what they’re really like.
For this review, I tried a pair of solid black trunks. They’re constructed from a fabric that’s 95% cotton and 5% elastane, which provides a soft cotton feel and allows for a little stretch. One of the first things I noticed when I took the pair out of the cardboard box was the understated marketing on the product itself.
It’s almost standard industry practice to feature brand names in large fonts on waistbands, but these trunks just have one small rectangle of a brand label (black label with white lettering) sewn into the front of the waistband. This places more of an emphasis on the underwear and less on the brand.
Then I tried them on and found that they fit me like a glove. They were comfortable all around and I felt that I looked good wearing them. Most designer underwear these days offer front pouches and those pouches range from a little extra room for comfort to size enhancement. These trunks are in the former category, so they provide some room in the front for comfort, but don’t showcase a large bulge. So you can wear these to work with flat-front pants without worrying that you’re showing too much of yourself to the office :)
I ended up wearing these to work and the gym and I felt comfortable in them all day. They’re durable, well-designed and well-constructed. One odd feature is that there are four tags sewn stacked on top of each other in the back of the waistband that list the materials and washing instructions in several different languages. But because these tags are quite thin, they didn’t itch. In fact, I couldn’t feel them at all.
So what’s my verdict? I’m surprised by how much I like these trunks. Because of the great comfort, style, quality, versatility and low price, I feel that David Beckham has scored a solid goal with these. 5 stars!

The infamous David Beckham Super Bowl Ad + backstage footage

Apparently, as long as you’re a major athletic super star (and not shaking your booty too violently) YouTube will refrain from blocking your videos.
Case in question: Mr. Beckham’s much-hyped Super Bowl video ad featuring his new H&M Bodywear range (a less offensive way of saying underwear).
The video sees Beckham pose in boxer shorts, boxer briefs, and regular briefs while looking confident in that angry/serious model kind-of-way. You can see the video below. There’s even a behind-the-scenes clip as well.
Carried by low-price retailer, H&M, the new Beckham undies are quite cheap. In the U.S., a pair of briefs is just $12.95.

David Beckham debuts new H&M men’s underwear range! See the pics.

He finally revealed his long awaited men’s underwear range, the almighty David Beckham!
How long we have waited for this exclusive new line, and granted, the promotion material is hot as always as Beckham shows off all the new undies on his own fine body.
He’s certainly no tease like certain others (Yes, Tim Tebow, we’re looking at you).
But still, is it just us, or is the underwear kind of… so so?
Not a bad word about undies from H&M, though – don’t forget, we’ve liked them a lot in the past.
The underwear just doesn’t come off as exclusive and enticingly hot as when David Beckham modeled for Armani. But we guess that’s a given – H&M, after all, is discount undies and shouldn’t be compared to Armani.
The new H&M Beckham Bodywear collection includes 9 pieces, many of which you can see below.
“Collectively with my design team we spent time working on the feel, fit and style to ensure the product is not only something I would wear but one which I would be proud to put my name to” says Beckham.
This first instalment, which will be available in stores on online from February 2, marks an ongoing partnership between David Beckham and H&M, and will develop seasonally.
Hopefully the range will evolve into something a little more revolutionary. But who are we kidding, we’ll be buying these undies anyway. The Beckham brand commands us!

Valdamar’s Weekly Underwear Report: THE GUB GRIND!

Hello Gubbers! I love you! I am back with an all new report. It’s been a while since my last one, I am very sorry about that. Now I have almost too much to report; some really great stuff too! First off can you believe it’s October? What the heck! Ok I’ll stop screaming with all these exclamations. Let’s get to the news:
GUB NEWS: The “GUB Grind”
Something HUGE is coming! I can’t give all the details yet because this project is still in the planning stage. But around Valentines Day we are going to hosting a big underwear party somewhere. We are in the talks with several amazing underwear brands and several HOT models (Including the one pictured above, the man I asked to marry me lol). More info to come soon.
GUB NEWS: Underwear Shopping
We are going to be putting together an underwear shopping guide for Christmas and want your help. Let us know about your experiences with on-line or in store shopping. UPDATE: Largest Pair of Underwear Returned
A while back we reported that the world’s largest pair of underwear had been stolen from the City Museum in St. Louis. How credible that claim or museum are is still in question. Well, the 7 feet wide, 6 feet tall with a 16 feet waist pair of underwear has been returned. And with is was a new pair of woman’s panties the same size. Hmmm… Can you say publicity stunt? Although I do want to go see them now.
UPDATE: Beckham
So, I have heard it from several reports that David Beckhams highly anticipated new line of underwear is going to include long johns. The line reportedly called “Choctaw Ridge”, because David is now a Native American (joke), will be sold at Barney’s. I’m sure online as well. Stylecaster.com has reported that David will not model the underwear. Really?! What’s the point Beckham, I hope this isn’t true.
UPDATE: Rwanda’s Used Underwear Market Receives a Deadline
As previously mentioned on the weekly report Rwanda, like several other countries, has posted a ban on the sales of used underwear. They have given merchants a deadline; December 31, 2011. So if you are a fan of used underwear in Rwanda you better get to shopping now!
New Underwear for Australian Soldiers
The Aussie Diggers, soldiers, will receive a new pair of lightweight high quality silk underwear. They are designed to improve mobility and protect against shrapnel. They go along with a new lightweight body armor the British soldiers are already using. Ok, if any of you Diggers out there are reading this; I need a pair of those undies! PLEASE!
Starbucks Barista Fired After Underwear Post on YouTube
Barista, Chris Christwell, was fired after posting a song about Starbucks on YouTube. He sang the song with a guitar wearing only an apron and his underwear. After listening to the song I don’t think the fact that he was in underwear had anything to do with it. By the way Chris, want to be interviewed for “My Lucky Undies”?
Four Players Kicked out of Game for the Color of Underwear
Four students and their manager were kicked out of a soccer game between Newport County and Bath City Academy in the FA Youth Cup. The rules state that your underwear needs to be the same as your shorts so as not to draw too much attention to it. The students shorts were red, their underwear white and black. Apparently the players, aged around 16 and 17, were made to pull their pants down to show their underwear. I think someone needs to do a background check on that ref!
Zac Efron in his Underwear
Here’s a picture of Zac in underwear on the set of the movie Paperboy. I have a comment for the director, Lee Daniels. First of all I love you Lee! Precious was AMAZING! However, next time there is a male underwear scene in one of your movies, please consult me first.

Where Are the MEN!
London’s famous Tabloid “the Sun” has posted it’s top 10 celebrity underwear shoots. Not one of them was a man! And I only had ever heard of four of the women. What about Beckham, Wahlberg, Palmer or Sabato Jr? Come on SUN!
Loosen Up Utah!
September 1st thousands of men and woman ran through Salt Lake City to make a statement: Don’t be so uptight Utah! From the pictures I’ve seen I think our Utah brothers should run around in underwear all the time.

Mom Shovels Underwear Clad Son
A 49-year-old mom, Priscilla Ethridge, was jailed after she allegedly told Walton County Sheriff’s Office deputies she hit her son, who was standing in his underwear, with a shovel handle and told him to get out of her home, reports the Northwest Florida Daily News in Fort Walton Beach. Her son, who is on probation, suffered either a broken or dislocated elbow. What a lovely family.
Chased Away by Underwear Man
A man in Buffalo New York chased a burglar out of his home and into the street. He was carrying a Glock pistol and was in nothing more than his underwear. He didn’t realize this till he was in the middle of the street. No need for shame man, just send me a pic.

David Beckham underwear ads gallery!

So, the hearts of underwear fans from around the world skipped a beat a couple of weeks ago as David Beckham finally announced his plans to launch his very own men’s underwear brand.
Not that it came as too much of a surprise, though, it’s been a recurring subject on the rumor mill for ages.
Just as you guys, we are extremely excited about what Beckham’s underwear collection will entail – will it just be briefs, trunks, and boxers, or will he venture into more exotic cuts as well? And will the undies cost?
We’ll just have to wait and see.
We are absolutely positive that Beckham will be massively successful with his new business adventure. He could easily become the Björn Borg of this decade.
We hear that the Beckham undies will be available in stores this fall and that – naturally – the soccer star will once again act as chief underwear model.
So in celebration and anticipation of Beckham’s return to male underwear modeling we’ve gathered some of his best work so far for Emporio Armani. If it’s any indication of what’s to come, we’re all in for a real treat.
