Björn Borg and John McEnroe launch new underwear range. See the pics.
July 4th, 2011Happy 4th of July, gubbers! We hope you’re having a marvelous time.
Björn Borg hasn’t really been the most blogged about men’s underwear brand here on GUB in recent months.
The brand isn’t really the most proactive and innovative we know off, but its high quality boxer briefs have become a pretty popular choice among mainstream underwear consumers in Northern and Western Europe.
I do own a few pairs myself, and I can certainly vouch for the production quality – they’re some of the most durable undies in my entire collection.
Anyway, now the former Swedish tennis star has joined forces with his biggest rival of the glorious 80s tennis era, Mr. John McEnroe.
Back then the two fought in some epic grand slam battles, but today the two tennis aces are calling a truce to launch a new, limited edition men’s underwear collection.
Four percent of the campaign proceeds will even be donated to the John & Patty McEnroe Foundation.

Valdamar’s Weekly Underwear Report: Superman loses his undies

June don’t go! It’s too soon!
Well, it’s the last week of June. I hope you men have been able to get out and enjoy the summer and maybe even have some outside in underwear time. Being Gay Pride month you can always get to a local Pride event and strip down to undies and it’s totally acceptable. That’s the best part about these festivals.
Here in Colorado Springs we have our Pride next month, July 16 – 17, so if you haven’t made it to one yet come visit ours. I will be working at a booth and may end up in undies Sunday, plus I hear this year we will have Manview underwear sporting and selling their underwear. Woo Hoo! I am excited. OK, but enough about that lets see what’s happening this week in underwear:

Colorado based company, 4th Amendment Wear, won a Gold Lion award from the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity for their underwear with messages hidden in them that are only visible via airport TSA screenings. The messages contain freedom messages in protest of the invasive security, basically calling attention to the fourth amendment.

The Philipines Star is reporting that designer Bench out of Manila has secured Twilight star Taylor Lautner as an endorser. It seems like a great move for a guy who has worked as hard as he has to get the body needed for his role as a werewolf.
Free Clothes For The Stripped
Cloting designer, Desigual, gave free clothing to the first 100 people who showed up out side their London store Friday. People began to line up Thursday night for the free clothes. This same Spanish designer has ran this at stores in Amsterdam, Stockholm and Berlin. Why doesn’t this happen here!
Strip Victory Lap
Austin Hubbard, the latest in his family to take on the world of car racing ,just won the “World of Outlaws Late Model Series”. So how did he celebrate? He stripped off his clothes and took a victory lap in his undies! Of course he had long underwear on but I still like the idea.
Jail Undies
One local Jail in Tennessee is switching underwear. They used to provide underwear that cost $1.50 for inmates, but that was too costly so they’ve swapped. They now have an orange stretchy one size fits all unisex brief which costs .50 cents each. The undies should last 50 wears and the inmates still have tho option of bringing their own underwear… Is it just me or do you want a pair too?
Jock Strap Duty
A Host at CBS All Sports radio station 93.7 KDKA-FM is on underwear duty. He bet that if the Pittsburg Pirates got their record above 500, something they haven’t done since 1999, he would wash their jock straps. Well after a few wins the team made it and he is on underwear duty. Why don’t I make bets like that? Denver if any of your teams needs a Jock manager, I am here!
Superman Loses his Underwear!
DC Comics is going to relaunch the Superman series starting with Action Comics # 1. However, they are making a few adjustments, one they are taking away his red underpants! More like outer pants. They are putting him in a solid blue and at times even jeans. I think they should have kept the red underpants and lost the blue suit! I don’t know why they want to redo the classics I think it’s a bad move.
WEEK IN UNDERWEAR CRIME
Underwear Chase
Bradley Voyken, a 21 year old man hiding from several warrants, was found at an apartment in downtown Kelowna, near Toronto Canada. When police arrived he jumped out the window and fled in just his underwear. The police chased him through yards and neighborhoods and finally caught him in a closet at another home. He was still just in his boxers.
Jersey School Yeller
A man in New Jersey ran into an Elementary School and began to scream and yell that he was being chased by men with guns. He was only wearing his underwear. It turns out the men he was talking about were the Police who were called to a scene where he was making a disturbance. He has been taken in for psychiatric evaluation. Well technically he was telling the truth.

Every man has his favorite pair of underwear, or at least type. The underwear you wear on special occasions for luck or just when you need to have that extra boost in morale or comfort.
That’s what this NEW segment on the Guys Underwear Blog is all about. We want to know which pair of underwear men have that special attachment to. For our very first interview I found the most beautiful man in the world! Ok, that may be a title that’s too subjective to hand out but I am giving it to Adam.
Adam Coussins is a professional model from Derby, England, now living in Nottingham. Adam looks like he was built to live solely in underwear. He’s one of them guys who is so beautiful that I just want to punch him in the face!
Of course, after talking to Adam I came to the conclusion he was way to nice of a man for me to do that to, plus he could probably kick my butt.
Funny thing is that he was so nice I began to doubt I was talking to the man in the pictures so I made him send me pictures holding a piece of paper that said “I love the GUB” on it to prove he was Adam Coussins, and being the exceedingly nice man that he is he sent pictures with no complaints.
So, then I felt like a complete ass! But I also found that Adam is a man that goes far beyond the pretty face and perfect body, he is a genuinely nice man who‘s aspirations are to work hard so that his family can be secure and happy with no worries and to do his part to help in curing diseases to make the world a better place.
So let’s find out what this “Mr.Perfect” has to say about his underwear. See lots of pictures Mr. Coussins in between the questions below!
Guys Underwear Blog: Adam, did you know that I think you’re the most beautiful man in the world?
Adam Coussins: Wow, that’s an amazing comment and I thank you for that. The world is a big place, I won’t let that comment go to my head at all. I don’t think I am, though, and never will (laughs). But thank you so much for your kind words.
GUB: So, how many underwear shoots have you done?
AC: I have worked for many brands. And as far as shoots I guess I’ve lost count (laughs). A few of the brands would be Unico, Sloggi, HOM, Jockey, Bruno, Banani and many more.
GUB: Well, you’ve done an amazing job. What was it that got you into modeling?
AC: Well I was spotted on Facebook by an agent that saw my holiday pictures and got me some gigs then it just snowballed from there. Its been a crazy few years and hasn’t stopped. It doesn’t seem real at times.
GUB: You know, I was discovered as an underwear writer on Facebook as well. So what was your first modeling job?
AC: I basically had to pose in trunks to show off my muscles and I was oiled up etc. The pictures came out nice and got me more jobs.
GUB: Do you ever get nervous or uncomfortable posing with little to no clothes?
AC: At times I do a little but mostly no. At the start of the journey I’d say yes for sure, but I’m comfortable now and enjoy it more.
GUB: So you’re an exhibitionist now (laughs), just kidding. So what do your family and friends think of your more “erotic” photos?
AC: Some think it’s cool and funny but I don’t really shout out about it at all. I’m doing well so I think they must see that and think “fair play to him“.
GUB: Well, I’m glad you’ve made this career move. As a straight man how do you feel about all your adoring gay fans?
AC: I don’t mind at all, you’re nothing without your fans and some people forget that at times. I’ve met many fans. gay, straight or even if they were an Alien, it makes no difference to me, its 2011 and the world’s changing, and we all need to be whatever we want to be.
GUB: Nice analogy (laughs). So, let’s get to the point, what is your favorite pair of underwear?
AC: I don’t have a specific pair, but at the moment I’m all over the Mundo Unico, I just like the brand I think they’re awesome, I really do. They’re so comfy and an awesome fit. And they come in so many different shapes, sizes, and colors. They should definitely be seen a lot more. But I am a boxers man myself, though.
GUB: Boxers? I’m crushed! (Laughs). Let’s stick to the Unico’s, do you have a large underwear collection?
AC: I own many pairs of underwear. Some given to me from shoots or my own. I collect them and keep them as memories of shoots. I have quite a few skimpy ones that I won’t use, but like I say, I keep them as mementos.
GUB: I think you should give me one as a memento of this interview (laughs). Has there been any occasion or moment that a pair of underwear really proved to be “lucky”?
AC: I have some Under Armour sports under shorts that I wear a lot and they make me win football games (laughs). They’re a tight fit and awesome to wear, I feel like a machine (laughs).
GUB: I love Under Armour! How long have you had this pair of “Luck Under Armour“?
AC: Three years I think. They’ve been very good to me, they have seen many many goals.
GUB: So if I wanted to buy those underwear off you right now how much would I have to pay?
AC: 50 pounds. That’s the figure I’ve gotten before and the one I like (Smirks). But you’re welcome to make me an offer. I would never turn down one million (laughs).
GUB: Ok, do you take credit card? (Laughs) You may be getting a lot of offers now, Adam. So, how many pairs of underwear do you own?
AC: 15 pairs I think.
GUB: We need to get you more! When you’re shopping for underwear what do you look for?
AC: Mainly the fit and comfort. Price is sometimes an issue, but I guess most people get used to a certain brand. I don’t get mine too skimpy, I have them tight but not too short.
GUB: What were the last pair you purchased?
AC: They were from deadgoodundies.com, I work for them so I get a fair price. The people that work there are great and it’s a pleasure to work for them plus I get a decent deal on underwear. They’ve been good to me.
GUB: If there were anything you could change about the underwear industry, what would it be?
AC: Well, I would like to make my own brand if possible but its a gamble whether it would sell. And also maybe an online shop. I think the industry is good but I have ideas how to make it greater. I think it can be a pain for some people to buy underwear and sometimes maybe embarrassing. But lets face it its an important part of clothing (Smiles).
GUB: I would definitely buy underwear from you! If you do get your own brand I want the exclusive on it. Being such an ambitious guy where do you see yourself in ten years?
AC: Hopefully a business man looking after my family and friends and living good. People seem to like me so hopefully they’ll see more of me. I’m flattered that I’m liked and hope to be around for a long long time. I want to die a legend if possible.
GUB: Sweet! One last thing, will you marry me?
AC: (Laughs) I think my girlfriend would have something to say about that. You’re very nice to ask, though, and I’m sure you would make a great husband (laughs). If you’re a good cook and cleaner that would be a bonus.
GUB: (Laughs) Thank you Adam it really has been a pleasure meeting you.
AC: Thank you so much for the interview, it means a great deal to me and I thank everyone that reads it.

David Beckham underwear ads gallery!
June 1st, 2011So, the hearts of underwear fans from around the world skipped a beat a couple of weeks ago as David Beckham finally announced his plans to launch his very own men’s underwear brand.
Not that it came as too much of a surprise, though, it’s been a recurring subject on the rumor mill for ages.
Just as you guys, we are extremely excited about what Beckham’s underwear collection will entail – will it just be briefs, trunks, and boxers, or will he venture into more exotic cuts as well? And will the undies cost?
We’ll just have to wait and see.
We are absolutely positive that Beckham will be massively successful with his new business adventure. He could easily become the Björn Borg of this decade.
We hear that the Beckham undies will be available in stores this fall and that – naturally – the soccer star will once again act as chief underwear model.
So in celebration and anticipation of Beckham’s return to male underwear modeling we’ve gathered some of his best work so far for Emporio Armani. If it’s any indication of what’s to come, we’re all in for a real treat.

Valdamar’s Weekly Underwear Report: Jake Gyllenhaall pic… it ain’t him!
May 30th, 2011Hello my fellow underwear lovers! The tradition beginning of summer is here and I could not be more happy. Hopefully you can find an occasion to make your underwear your outer wear in this warmer weather, I know I will try.
If you can’t find one you can always make one – why not hold an underwear party of your own? I just may have to do that and I’ll invite all of you! Well here’s what’s happening in the world of underwear this week (P.S. don’t forget to vote for our underwear pic of the month, too – the poll closes tomorrow!):
UPDATE: Jake Gyllenhaal underwear pic
Last week I reported and posted an alleged picture of Jake posing in his underwear. Well the picture has been claimed a fake by the star and he is trying to eradicate the picture from the web. Which obviously just makes it that much more popular. I almost feel that the big fit he’s throwing over this picture is a publicity stunt because one; who cares, the picture’s not that bad, and two; it’s become the biggest underwear story on the net, and he knows – as we all do – once something goes viral you can’t get rid of it. Actually the best way to get rid of it is to ignore it not call attention to it.
Apparently he’s ready to sue, although I am not sure who he is going to sue, however, I have heard Photoshop themselves named. As of the time of this writing we have not been asked to remove the picture however I am not going to re post it this week, but it’s in last weeks report (for now).
UPDATE: Canada’s Underwear Affair!
A while back we told you about the Alberta Cancer Foundations underwear run to raise awareness for prostate, colon and ovarian cancer, the “down there” cancers. Well registration is open, so those of you in Canada: strip down and get to it! The event will be held in several locations through out Canada and you can do a 10k run or a 5k walk. Like pianos? Or muscled guys in underwear? Well now there is a site for you called misterbark.com where you can watch Mister Bark play the piano in his underwear. He’s not too bad on the eyes either.
Lost In Underwear
A man in Issaquah Washington was rescued by the police and taken back to the Motel 6 where his roommate was staying. The man was lost and had no idea where he was at nor how he got there. And the best part was all he had on was a tee shirt and boxers.
The Undie 500
Last Thursday the Speed Zone, a family fun center with Go-Karts, held a special event. Free go-kart racing for anyone who comes just in their underwear. I think this is a great idea, of course some people were a little worried since this is mainly a place for children. Well it’s about time children learn that we all have underwear. This was the 4th annual “Undie 500”.
I Don’t Need Anything But Underwear
Robert Patterson, best know for his work in the Twighlight series, recently revealed in an interview with the Italian Glamour magazine that all he needs is underwear. They asked him what is a must have item in his wardrobe and all he said was “Underwear, which is the only necessary thing after all. But I might add socks as well, you know, just to make the answer more interesting”. I think it was interesting enough already, Rob!
The Underwear Song
Why was Patch Adams in a giant pair of underwear with a bunch of people singing the underwear song? It was for an event called Move Over AIPAC to bring awareness to the humiliating checkpoints that Palestinians have to endure. That’s politics in San Francisco for you.
THE WEEK IN UNDERWEAR CRIME:
Bus Stop Underwear
The police in Wisconsin was on double duty recently. The Waukesha police department has sent out extra patrol cars to a neighborhood where a guy has freaked out the locals. He had been talking to children at the bus stop, none of which he knows nor does he have any children of his own. Plus he has been seen walking his dog in just his underwear and going over to the bus stop that way. No arrest has been made… yet.
Tied Up
A man in Des Moines was found with his ankles and wrists tied with men’s neck ties and in nothing but his underwear. Sound like a scene out of a porn movie, but this was no fun. He had been mugged and beaten pretty badly and left in that condition. The man said his truck and wallet were stolen but he had no idea who did this nor why.
Strip Search Lawsuit
A man in Fostoria, Ohio is suing the local police department for what he calls a humiliating act. He was pulled over for a turn signal violation and it turned into a drug hunt. The police had the man get out searched his car and his person three times. They eventually had him in his underwear in the street while they searched his clothes in front of onlookers. They found nothing. He is suing for $50,000.
UNDIE CHECK:

We have an exciting new feature coming soon! We will be doing an ongoing segment where we find men and interview them about their favorite underwear. It will be a chance to take a glimpse into other men’s underwear drawers and see the world of underwear from their perspective. I already have two AMAZING interviews lined up and I think you will be pleasantly surprised who we’re talking to. I won’t say because it’s not 100% in stone yet, but the above pictures are your hint. UPDATE: ASU Undie Run
A few weeks ago we reported this great event done to support a local charity by having college students strip out of their clothes and donate them as well as raise money. However, sadly a few guys have ruined the image of this event by fighting. The part that I feel makes this so bad is they weren’t just fighting each other but picking on and punching “the fat kid”. I hate seeing a few guys ruin such a fun event for a good cause and a great way to use underwear. It’s possible this act could ruin this annual event.
Captain Jack Wear Women’s Underwear?
Johnny Depp has become an icon for his portrayal of Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise. He recently was interviewed and said he loves the opportunity this character gives him to let loose in his swashbuckling way. Yet he revealed another secret reason for loving this character, “it also gives me the opportunity to wear women’s underwear beneath the costume… which you don’t get everyday, so you have to take the chance and grab it.”
Underwear Health Warnings in Brazil
After a 12 year long debate Brazil has decided that underwear should come with health warnings. Now it’s not that underwear plays any risks but that the areas covered by your underwear need some help. The warnings are about condom usage, breast and prostate cancer screenings and the like. It’s just another way to spread awareness to the community about care of their nether regions.
Russell Brand Sunbathes in Underwear
Russell Brand was seen in Florida shopping and jet skiing and have a grand old time and when he was sunbathing he wasn’t in a swim suit but in underwear, tighty whities. He’s in Miami shooting a new film called Rock of Ages. You’d think a big movie star would have a Speedo or something, not that I’m complaining.
Why Isn’t Tebow in his Underwear?
It’s not just us asking this! As I have stated, or complained about, several times, Mister Quarterback is Jockey’s underwear spokesman but never poses in it. The weird thing is I’ve seen him in pictures with just underwear before but not Jockeys. So the NFL blog site noticed that as well. He was at Macy’s in Manhattan posing with several models in underwear but didn’t show off his own underwear so the NFL blog site asked the above question.
Osama Bin Laden Was Killed in His Underwear?
The graphic photos of Bin Laden’s death have not been released to the public. However they have been made available for members of congress to see at the CIA headquarters. Most the shots were of his head because that’s where he was shot and how he could be identified. But 2 were full body shots and they revealed that he was wearing only his underwear. The pictures were taken right after the incident yet it’s not known if he was stripped or if that’s really all he had on. What kind of underwear do you think he wore?

So there has been a picture of Mr. Prince of Persia going around the web where he is in a “Grace Jones” pose. But the best part is that he is just in his underwear! The authenticity of the picture is in question as there is no explanation for its existence, however doesn’t it look great!
Lawyer Drops Trousers!
An Austrian Lawyer did something pretty unusual recently and no one really knows why. During the questioning of his client by two female investigators he just stood up removed his pants and sat on his desk in his white briefs with his back to the women, right in the police station. Was it a dare, a distraction method, was he just hot or has he gone mad?

A 30 year old man in Bridgeport Connecticut was arrest for suspicion of being on PCP and making threats. He was standing on the rail road tracks at about midnight screaming out that he was going to kill somebody. Doing all this only in his underwear and a pair of sneakers.

With Mothers day passing it reminded us of our need to always have on a nice clean fresh pair of underwear because you never know who will see it or when your pants may suddenly be removed from you. Mom was right men, wear nice underwear!

Even death will not keep Mr. Jackson out of the tabloids for his unusual habits. It has been released in a “secret police document” that in a 2003 raid on his Never Land ranch, due to molestation charges, the police seized some of his briefs. Yes, we now know MJ was a brief man. Well, upon investigation the police found traces of cocaine in Jackson’s briefs as well as other drugs. So apparently Michael liked to store his cocaine and other drugs in his underwear. This came out now in the trial against Conrad Murray to show Jackson’s depth of drug use. Will Jacko ever be able to rest in peace?
Submarine Underwear
This story comes up every once in a while with different artists and bands and I always LOVE it! But sometime I forget who I’ve mentioned so I apologize if I already reported this. Blake of the group, the Submarines, in a recent interview revealed that when the studio gets hot they strip to their underwear while recording their music. NICE! Even if one of them is a woman, lucky her.
Another College Underwear Run! Woo Hoo!
Thursday night in Tempe Arizona a mass of college students took to the streets in their underwear. This was done to raise money for several of the charities in the surrounding area. This is becoming a popular way to get attention and raise money for charities. A similar event recently took place at UCSB in California.
Geordie Shore Undies
MTV UK is creating their own version of the Jersey Shore, because that’s done so much for this country, called the Geordie Shore highlighting the eight young people living it up in luxury in Jesmond, Newcastle. Well, one of their new “stars” is a young man named James Tindale who should do well since I’m sure MTV will do all it can to get these young people to show as much skin as they can. James tried for Calvin Klein at a model search once but was not accepted. Sorry, James, you weren’t CK material, but don’t worry MTV will take you.
Missing Underwear?
So an urgent message was sent to the Washington Post staff newsroom recently. “Whoever is missing a pair of men’s dark blue-black underwear is welcome to claim them from the hallway floor between Karen DeYoung’s office and James Grimaldi’s desk. No reward is being offered at this time.” My question, are they nice? I may want them.
Munsingwear Museum
Well maybe not a whole museum but an exhibit at the Minnesota History Museum which celebrates the evolution of underwear. And although not Munsingwear-specific they are local to Minnesota and so are featured. I did mention this last week but LOVED the new photo so I had to share again!
Trading Speedos for Undies
Olympic Gold Medalist, Eamon Sullivan, traded in his Speedo for undies at Sydney’s fashion week for Davenports Brunk’d underwear line. Even though Sullivan has been displayed in nothing more than a Speedo for ages and is used to it he said it was weird to do this in underwear although it was fun. He has modeled the underwear before but never before a live audience. Australia always gets the best athlete underwear endorsers!

MJ Copycat
Already! Quintas DeWayne Shaw, a man in Longview Texas, was arrested since he too, like Michael, stores his cocaine in his underwear. What’s worse is that soon after this they found a second man, Charles Desmond King, with drugs in his underwear! I hope Jackson hasn’t started a new trend, this one could be worse than the high waters and white rhinestone glove.
WTF!
Ok this one is crazy, I did my research to make sure it was real. Sadly it is. 19 year old Mark Lucas Thompson was arrested in Charleston West Virginia (maybe not so surprising) after neighbors found him standing over the dead body of a stolen pigmy goat wearing women’s underwear. He had been high on “bath salts”, a new one for me, for three days when he stole and killed the goat. When confronted Thompson ran out of the house in a muscle shirt and thong. They believe he may be mentally unstable…. YOU THINK!!!

Gubbers are fans of the G.U.B by the way, that is Guys Underwear Blog.
We have hit a milestone too and it’s thanks to you our fans. We have surpassed 40,000 monthly visitors!
That’s more people than live in South Perth Australia, Whitley Bay England, or Philadelphia in circa 1775.
So we have to thank you, our loyal reader SO MUCH! And we have a lot of exciting things coming soon. I will let you in on a little secret coming soon: You will have the opportunity to be the picture of the month and win underwear by doing so!

The Prince and The Underwear
Big news this past week was the big royal wedding, which I didn’t watch. But I found an article that said Prince William was dancing around in his underwear and a pink boa. I didn’t believe it, so I researched it and it was true! It’s believed that these “private” pictures, nothing’s private anymore guys – obtained by The People magazine – were of the Prince at a friend’s 21st birthday party back in 2002. William, I think your buddy is supposed to be doing the partying, but I guess when you’re the Prince it‘s always your party.
Boxers or Briefs?
The age old now irritating question is still around. This time it was asked by one of the biggest online retailers of underwear. Freshpair.com asked 175,000 people the question and it looks like briefs win. YES! Here are the results of the poll:
- 40 % prefer briefs
- 25 % prefer boxer briefs
- 18 % prefer trunks
- 10 % prefer boxers
- 5 % prefer thongs
- 2 % prefer other styles
Levi Johnston Was An Underwear Model?
Well not quite, a movie is being made about the 2008 Presidential Election called “Game Change” and in it the part of Levi Johnston has gone to Justin Gaston. Gaston has modeled some great underwear, although he also has dated Miley Cyrus.
Old Undies
The Warwick County Museum in Indiana is pulling out a century of old underwear. It’s all for an exhibit featuring underwear and sleepwear used in the United States from the 1860’s to the 1960’s. The museum mentioned that men’s underwear hadn’t changed too much during that time period compared to women’s. But we have seen a lot of change from 1960 up till now thanks to our great designers.
Soccer Players Underwear Streak
During a Sky Sports report in Scotland, some members of Scotland’s Premier soccer team decided to streak the camera running by in their tighty whites right as a fellow team mate was getting interviewed. The news team seemed a little confused and simply cut away and went on. Good job men!
Magic Underwear?
Bill Maher made comments on the David Letterman show about Mitt Romney and his “Magic Underwear”, as have others in recent times, referring to Romney being Mormon. As for the political and religious aspect I am staying out of that but I think we need a statement for the underwear. It’s true some Mormons wear special underwear to remind them of their Christian and moral identities, just as some religions wear certain head coverings or hats, and others have their leaders dress a certain way to define their roles and “piety”. Mormons do not feel their underwear is “magic”, at least the majority don’t, they are merely symbols reminding the wearer of his connection to God. So put down Mitt if you want but leave the underwear alone!
Akon Strips!
Hip hop star, Akon, gave his fans a treat on April 27th when he stripped down to his underwear on stage. The singer was performing on Usher’s OMG Tour in Sunrise, Florida. The stripped, smiled and walked away. Nice.
Underwear For Victims
It seems that people have become very aware of the need to give underwear to people who have fallen victim to natural disasters. The most recent is coming from the NorthStar Church in Georgia where collections of underwear are being taken to give to people in southeast Georgia who were effected by the recent slink of tornados.
THE WEEK IN UNDERWEAR CRIME:
G-Strings N Jerseys
Shawn Batie was found at a Lodi, California, south of Sacramento, cemetery walking around talking to himself wearing a Raiders Jersey and a G-String. He was apparently on something. He was prepared to look good in that string as he had a woman’s scrunchy around his genitals, maybe he wanted some lift. He was arrested and taken to jail where he later smeared feces all over the wall. Raiders fans, what can you do.
UNDIE CHECK:
So what were you guys wearing this week? We checked Thursday/Friday depending where you live and here’s what we found: The Australian’s were supporting their aussieBums proudly, the Coloradoan where doing likewise with Baskit and there were a whole lot of colorful HOT briefs. We even found a few boxer lovers in the group, which we welcome for some diversity.
Our poll for “what kind of underwear do you think men should wear” has overwhelmingly chosen “designer underwear men should look good, sexy and have character” has won with 169 out of 573 votes. Second was “plain color briefs/boxer briefs – cheap but look a little stylish”. At the end of the 10 choices were Thongs with only 15 votes and “who cares” with 46. Of course thongs can be thrown in with designer too, that was a broad choice. The poll is still open if you want to add your voice. April 16th, 2011While hordes of men’s underwear fans around the world are still recovering from the Jockey underwear model star disappointment that is Tim Tebow, the otherwise renowned undies brand just got regained some plus points in our book with their latest promotion video.
When it comes to Jockey, though, we can’t stay disappointed too long. After all, this is the company that invented the modern brief!
Anyway, Jockey Underwear recently celebrated 135 years in the industry with its first stunning International Catwalk show at the Hospital Club in London.
Members of Europe’s fashion elite and media were in attendance to watch the brand head back to its roots, showcasing heritage pieces from when the company began in 1876, right through to a preview of some of Jockey’s most stylish collections for A/W 2011.
My guess is we won’t be seeing Tim wearing any of these “stylish” collections, either.
Jockey, go for someone like Michael Phelps next time. He’s got what it takes to beat the Nadals and Ronaldos out there.

International Jock Underwear Model to Appear on 90201
April 14th, 2011We thought this was a fun little story for those of you guys who’re following 90210…
Next week’s episode of 90210 (Monday 4/18) promises plenty of “revealing” heat when Teddy (Trevor Donovan) is reunited with an old crush, Tripp Wallison (Alan Ritchson, Smallville).
Luckily for viewers, Mr. Ritchson is no stranger to the sexy game, given his career as a men’s underwear model.
Judging by these photos – courtesy of International Jock – we (and Teddy) have a lot to look forward to. Jocks, briefs, swim trunks, Alan Ritchson has sported them all.
