GUB Brief of the Year 2012: See the nominees and cast your vote. Win a pair of the winning briefs!
April 30th, 2012Guys, the time has come where underwear fans like you and us must determine what pair of briefs is the absolute best on the market right now!
That’s right, it’s time to cast your votes so that we can find out which brief that will be Guys’ Underwear Blog’s official Brief of the Year 2012! Last year this great honor went to the 2(x)ist SLIQ brief.
Over the next 7 days we will introduce all the nominated briefs. These include 7 of the hottest-looking, best-fitting, superbly produced briefs available at the moment.
Which brief will win is entirely up to all you guys. All you have to do is cast vote in the poll below.
You even get the chance to win your own pair of the winning briefs!
We will be giving away a pair of the winning briefs to five lucky guys once the vote is over and the Brief of the Year 2012 has been chosen.

This time BONE WEAR has snatched up the photographic talents of one Albie Bredenhann. Based in BONE WEAR’s home town of Pretoria, South Africa, Albie has been a freelance editorial, and portrait photographer for the last 13 years, and won a Bronze Award for Architecture in the 2010 Fujifilm.
So with merits like that, it’s no wonder that underwear model Leslie Cawood looks stunning in his BONE WEAR briefs in the pics below.

April 26th, 2012To say that he’s new “new” may be an understatement, but we certainly think he’s got talent, the young Adam Von Rothfelder.
In the picture below he is seen modeling Luxe briefs from Baskit. We’ve always been great fans of Baskit here at GUB. Especially the fit of the briefs has impressed us in the past.

Celebrity Apprentice star becomes the new crotch face of underwear brand, MensFit
April 24th, 2012Good news to our followers down under!
Last week Celebrity Apprentice star Didier Cohen was announced as the new face of the Australian men’s underwear label, MensFit.
We admit, we hadn’t spend much time on MensFit before this story broke. But rest assured, that is going to change now.
A self-confessed ‘jack of all trades’, the LA-born DJ, model, actor and television star will appear in a new campaign to launch the brand’s new range.
And we’ve already a few pics for you guys to enjoy.
Just another reason to love Australia and their men’s trend-setting underwear fashion industry!
In fact, MensFit has been a household name since it launched in 2003, with past faces (and bodies) of the brand including Neighbours star Blair McDonough and X-Factor host Luke Jacobz.
MensFit offers an extensive range of long and short-legged trunks, briefs, boxerbriefs and jockstraps, all available in a range of colors, prints and patterns, with prices ranging between $15.99 and $32.99.

April 11th, 2012Last year was the first time we got introduced to the wonderful men’s (and women’s) underwear brand that is Private Structure, a vibrant and fashionable newcomer from Malaysia.
Now the brand has matured, offering even more stylish ranges of funky briefs and trunks, but also trendy sportswear, swimwear and high quality casual wear.
In terms of design the variety of Private Structure is amazing. Lots of solid color designs as well as funky print patterns.
Private Structure has its own stores across Asia (Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Malaysia) and the Private Structure fashion shows are famous in Asia for their extravaganza.
We couldn’t resist so we found a Youtube clip from one of their shows – it really is grand!

Introducing DMK men’s underwear. Huge picture post!
April 9th, 2012A few days back we got an e-mail from a fellow underwear fan who asked us to look into a bunch of underwear brands we haven’t yet covered here on Guys’ Underwear Blog.
There were a lot of interesting ones on the list, most of them Southern European. On the list was also DMK, which is in fact an American brand out of Los Angeles that some of you may already know.
I was a bit surprised that we had never introduced the brand here on the blog. We change that today!
DMK is a high-end, high-quality brand with quite a distinctive design identity. It has sexy written all over it with enhancing pouches, mesh fabrics, and so on.
They sexy look and feel of DMK is underlined when looking at the cuts offered, which include everything from regular briefs and trunks to thongs, jockstraps, and even the infamous “sock” style with no back strap.

If you’re unfamiliar with Jason, you should know that this the man who originally made super brands like Ginch Gonch, LazzyBum and Piss & Vinegar what they are today.
Anyway, he also has Todd Sanfield in his staple, and from what we’ve seen so far, there’s much to like. The undies have a clear high-end feel to them. Classy, elegant and most of all sensual can best describe the look and tone of the line. The line is made with high-quality cotton and each pair of underwear is personally designed and inspired by the designer Todd’s unique sense of style and character.
