TRIBE Slim Side Brief: An Xpress Review by Guys’ Underwear Blog

Tribe is a brand that certainly has a style of it’s own. It seems most brands, not all, from Australia focus on the fun playful side of masculinity and give us underwear and styles that bring out that mischievous inner boy who never grows up yet contains the sexiness of an adult.
Tribe, however, has taken a more European approach to their style giving men a sophisticated, classy and elegant sensuality to their style and designs. This is completely evident in the Slim Side Brief – one of several styles available from Tribe.
Like all of Tribe’s underwear, the slim side brief gives men a daring and bold choice of fabrics and colors to choose from. The brief comes in “Burn Out”, “Abstract Mesh” and a red or black “Devore”, a velvet pattern on a fine mesh background. I took a look at two, the Burn Out and the Abstract Mesh.
The “Burn Out”, like the Devore, is a velvet pattern on a fine mesh background. The burn factor comes from the coloring a burnt orange blending in to a rusty brown.
The brief has a very regal quality to it, looking like the fabric you would find used as drapes in an elegant hotel. However, the material is as soft and stretchy as any high quality underwear you could find.
The fabric is 60% nylon, 30% polyester, 10% elastane giving it a sheer, sleek and stretchy quality. The brief wears well and is comfortable. It’s so light weight you almost forget you even have anything on.
When I first handled the brief I was impressed by its soft and smooth feel, and wearing it I wasn’t disappointed. It handled several wearing and washings and continued to stand up to the wear and tear and looks like it will last. Great quality construction and %100 made in Australia.
The subtle floral pattern in velvet almost gives it a feminine quality, however once it is on you, it holds your shape and is definitely a masculine flavor. The sheer quality gives a peek at what’s underneath but the pouch is lined with the same fabric giving a little extra modesty to the crotch. This brief scream sophistication and definitely is a very refined and sexy pair of underwear.
The “Abstract Mesh” has the initial appearance of a maritime bikini. It reminded me of a sexy merman or even what Aqua Man would wear in his down time.
I think this is due to the coloring, very aqua in shades of green and grey with a black abstract design. And the almost fish net-like appearance of the mesh makes it very aquatic. This too, like the burn out, transforms once it is on you and forms to your masculine silhouette.
When I first saw the brief I thought it had the appearance of a panty due to the thin almost frilly black elastic band. But this, too, changes once on you, when it takes a stronger and more supportive presence.
It is a hot pair of underwear that gives the look of refinement and pure male sexuality. This is not a boy’s pair of underwear. When I first put the brief on I could tell it was mesh, not that it was uncomfortable.
The fabric is a %94 polyester and %6 elastane making it sleek and form fitting. I don’t know if I would wear it as everyday underwear as the mesh can get a little irksome, although I did wear them for about 24 hours and they were fine.
One funny note; I woke up after sleeping in them with the typical situation down there, and noticed that my penis had the pattern of the mesh imprinted onto it! It wasn’t the most comfortable feeling, but again not bad.
This is a great pair of underwear to show off that high end chic man that you are. Tribe is a magnificent designer brand that will bring out the high class guy in you and display his as an asset to the world.

Well, this is the last of my three reviews of Gregg Homme underwear. I’m gonna miss you Gregg! But at least I am left with three amazing pairs of skivvies.
By this point, if you’ve kept up with the reviews, you may be sick of me singing the praise of Mr. Homme but one last time I must say I have found their quality to be the gourmet premium standard of underwear, at least from what I have seen.
But moving on, let’s look at this last juicy morsel of underwear heaven: The Gregg Homme Torrid.
Sometime I am kind of a meat head and I’ll admit it, I didn’t know what the word “Torrid” meant, so I looked it up. I found the definition fitting for this underwear meaning “very hot”, “sensuous” or “blazing”.
These undies definitely are a sweltering piece of impassioned delight. Although another term I would use to describe them is “nothing”, they feel like nothing and practically look like nothing and I mean that in a good way.
Another Homme garment is called the Commando in that it is supposed to be like going commando or underwearless, however I think these are the pair that truly make you feel like you have nothing on.
They are made with the same astounding eight way stretch fabric that mimics that naked feel while still providing comfort. The Torrid is one spectacular pair of underwear.
When I first received my sky blue Torrid brief (more of a micro bikini) my first impression was “Oh My God this is small!”
It came in a tiny zip lock type bag that looked like it would hold a piece of jewelry. I took it out and examined it and it felt like spandex silk, smooth and slinky.
When I had seen pictures of the Torrid advertised it always looked like it was just a naked guy with a slight blue hue Photoshopped over him like painted on underwear yet with everything still visible.
After trying them on I must say they really look that way. It really is like being naked! You can barely feel them and they are so stretchy and soft that your lower parts hang with little resistance and the fabric is sheer enough that you can see right through them. They completely conform to your body and fit exactly as they are pictured.
I wore them all day several times, washing them in-between of course, and they were fantastic. I was comfortable and never felt like they were slipping or ridding up.
They were completely efficient at work, running around town and lounging at home and I loved having them on. The only thing is that they don’t offer a lot of support so while at the gym I felt kind of out there and I don’t think they would be a good athletic undergarment.
But they obviously were not made to do that, they’re unquestionably a special pair of underwear. And even though they come across as a delicate material and seems like they would be as strong as tissue paper they really are quite tough.
The eight way stretching fabric held up to everything I put them through and even made it through my washing machine several times and came out like new. Of course I did air dry them as I would recommend.
The Torrid also comes in a trunk (this is more like a breif, and a small one, I’ve even seen it listed as a boxer brief), or a thong along with the brief and is available in red, black or white as well as the sky blue.
Overall this is a great sexy fun and about as small and revealing as you can get pair of underwear that any Underwear Lover would adore!

Thunderbox Trident Bikini Brief: An Xpress Review by Guys’ Underwear Blog

This is an exciting review! Not only is it a hot pair of underwear but we’re taking you to a new on-line underwear store: UW4MEN, which has a lot of great styles like Joe Snyder, animal prints, PPU, PVC underwear and Thunderbox brand Metallic colored underwear.
This site is so new it’s still a work in progress, but you can shop there now, just check back for updates and new styles. Today let’s look at one of the many hot styles featured on the site, the Thunderbox Trident, a metallic colored bikini.
This is a bikini that immediately will grab your attention the moment you take it out of the package. The fabric shimmers and shines as if it were foil or a PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride, a soft flexible plastic), though it is a stretchy fabric of nylon and spandex.
However, I’m sure it’s due to the shimmer effect but it’s not as stretchy as most spandex yet it does flex to fit your form well. And the metallic shimmer definitely will bring in a high contrast, really showing off your contours and assets.
I don’t think this is underwear that was made to be worn as your average everyday underpants but I wore the underwear for a full day’s activity and it held up well. It comes in many colors, I chose a red.
At first I noticed the pouch was not as roomy as other bikinis I have worn, but after a little while I didn’t notice since I didn’t feel cramped in the pouch. I think this is purposely designed this way so that the fabric will mold to your package, after all this is a pair of underwear made to show off.
The quality of the fabric is good in that it can stretch and bounce back keeping its metallic glow. However, because of the sparkling texture of the fabric they don’t breathe as well as cotton or other spandex blends, but it wasn’t uncomfortable nor did it make my groin area feel hot or sweaty.
The elastic around the waist and legs can feel a little rough at times, but overall is not bad, and I only felt that roughness after a long period of wear and it wasn’t overly coarse or uncomfortable.
But let me clarify here, this hot bikini is made for show not everyday wear. This would be a great eye catching swimsuit or posing suit for a physique competition. This is a pair of underwear you would want to wear to get attention, great for underwear parties or holidays like Valentines Day, or Christmas (although maybe a little late now).
But to reiterate I did wear them all day and they held up fine for the most part, I would wear them all day again. The construction seems durable and I washed them in my machine although Thunderbox recommends a hand wash – they came out in great shape.
I did air dry them as I would any fabric like this. After a few wears and washes the color still is holding up great, no peeling or flaking like I’ve seen on other metallic clothes. This bikini has held its flashy style. I did notice after several wears and washings a slight fade in between the legs, but it’s very slight.
This garment is one of those that’s hard to classify, it’s sold as underwear but fits, feels and looks more like a swim or posing suit. It definitely does not seem to be an article of clothing you hide under pants.
Yet, over all I think it’s a great article of clothing to own, you never know when you’re going to need a red hot shinny bikini to flaunt what you got! And as a side note it comes in many other colors like black, blue, green, purple and more.

Joe Snyder Exclusive Bikini – An Xpress Review by Guys’ Underwear Blog

We have a pretty special pair of underwear to talk about this time; the “exclusive” bikini (looks and fits more like a brief) from Joe Snyder.
Why exclusive?
Often we think of the word exclusive as meaning one of a kind or unlike anything else, and in a way this bikini is.
However, another definition is fashionable or stylish which this garment definitely is. I have seen a lot of underwear on the market recently with this built in “C” ring to enhance or lift. Shape-enhancing underwear is becoming quite popular for men today, it’s like the rise of the wonder bra for our manhood.
Although this separating and lifting ring is not unique to Snyder, their take on the design is pretty original. First off it is not a cotton brief but made from the standard Snyder polyamide/spandex material.
Second, and this is my favorite part, its outer pouch snaps open for easy access to your guy downstairs. Other like undies have side openings for easy access which work well until you see how east the access is through your Snyder’s. Plus it’s a lot of fun!
I wore the exclusive bikini for a full busy day of work, errands and hitting the gym and found this pair of underwear to be very comfortable, supportive and they made me feel great.
I have had reservations about wearing underwear where my testicles and penis were pulled through a hole into a separate compartment. First off it doesn’t look or sound comfortable, and second, I always felt I wouldn’t stay in place, eventually pulling back through the hole ending in a lot of discomfort.
However, I have another pair with this design and have never felt it to be uncomfortable nor have I ever become dislodged and it was the same with this pair. I actually found having my privates in a separate pouch quite comfortable.
I washed the underwear in the washer and then air dried them; they came out just like new. The quality of this garment is great. It’s very well constructed, the front alone has 8 different cuts of fabric crafted together. Joe Snyder did an excellent job with this one!

Hello Bikini lovers! We have an amazing pair of undies to share with you today; it’s the Joe Snyder Bikini. This is the classic minimal coverage bikini. Joe Snyder has taken the tour de force style and added their fun sexy groove to it.
The bikini is made from Snyder’s popular stretchy fabric and comes in over 15 colors including black sheer and white sheer. I chose the rainbow because I don’t own any rainbow underwear.
However, the standard solids are all available. I love the rainbow pattern; it’s so fun and full of character. The only thing I don’t really like about the rainbow is that the Joe Snyder logo appears repeatedly making a diagonal across the colors. I think it would be better if it appeared once on the hip.
But I still am glad I chose the rainbow and love the colorful festive look. As soon as I put the underwear on I could tell I was wearing a bikini from the feel, but after a while I didn’t notice the minimal coverage because they were so comfortable.
Funny story, though, I had a pair of jogging pants on and they kept sliding off due to the smooth material, so I had to tie the drawstrings tighter so as not to flash my rainbow butt. It was kind of fun!
The pouch on the front has been crafted to give your bits and pieces plenty of room to hang out. The design acts as a bulge enhancer as it allows your manhood to lay forward rather than to be pushed up or down. A friend of mine told me he loves Joe Snyder’s for this very reason.
I wore the pair all day at works, running to the store, cleaning the house, more work and even a quick bike ride and it held up very well under all conditions. The only issue of discomfort may come from the tiny size which you would expect from any bikini. I find that kind of sexy knowing I have such a small pair of underwear on but if you desire fuller coverage try the boxer styles from Snyder which are really more like briefs.
The bikini washed well, and like all my underwear I threw it n the machine despite the fact that you may want to hand wash them as recommended. However, they survived fine and come out looking like new.
I did air dry them like I would all spandex or delicate materials. I wore them again with the same results as the first time. Thee are a great pair of fun and sexy undies that could double as a swim suit or posing suit if you wanted them to. Good Devil Zoom Carnival Bikini – An Xpress Review by Guys’ Underwear Blog

Good day fans of men’s underwear! Are you ready to hear all about a spicy little bikini? We have a hot one for you this time! It’s the Zoom Carnival Bikini from Good Devil.
Described as “Junk performance at its maximum”, the Zoom Carnival Bikini really highlights your manliest of areas. And this feature really works!
A woman I work with told me the day after I wore it that she noticed I was bulging out more than usual. And as usual with Good Devil underwear there is no lack of sexiness to this bikini.
How does the “Zoom” work? Well a standard pouch is usually designed to hold your goods at the level where your testicles hang. This encourages your penis to lay over them naturally at a lower level.
With the Zoom design the pouch protrudes at your penises level thus allowing your member to lay extended outward at a higher level than normal.
Despite the way this may sound I found the pouch on this bikini to be very comfortable and I didn’t feel like the position my genitals where in felt any different than usual.
However, I could tell my package was much more noticeable, as could others.
Now I usually am not a big fan of the Brazilian back however Good Devil has made available a regular Zoom Bikini with a fuller ¾ back coverage, a boxer (square cut) and a thong. So anyone who may feel as I do has an option for a fuller back. But the whole zoom line comes with the enhancing front pouch.
I wore the bikini for a full day and it held up well. The fabric being polyester and spandex held its shape and kept me supported the entire time. It was light enough and with the design I almost felt as though I didn’t have any underwear on at all sometime.
The back rode up from time to time but for me that’s the way all Brazilian cuts fit, and again you have options for a different back.
I washed the bikini in my machine even though it is recommended that you hand wash it and it come out fine and still looking and feeling like new. I did however let it air dry as recommended.
It has a good construction and should have a great lifespan of making you look and feel sexy as hell!

I don’t wanna reveal too much, but I can say that I think Cocksox has produced an extraordinary brief with lots of mainstream potential.
Mainstream, how?

Good Devil is about fun and showing off your assets. In short, this is not men’s underwear for the fainthearted or uptight.
Just look at some of their cuts in the pics below. And I can assure you that they’ve got lots of styles that are way more revealing :)
The videos are taken from the International Lingerie Show. Model Levi Poulter wore 4 different Good Devil pieces in the fashion show and was very popular amongst the 2,500 – 3,000 in attendance at the evening’s event.
The ILS is held every spring and fall at the Rio in Las Vegas.

N2N Underwear Fashion Show, video of the 2011 range!
August 23rd, 2010N2N hosted a steaming fashion show a few weeks back, showing off items from their upcoming 2011 men’s underwear range.
As always when N2N hosts these things, they don’t hold back. They put all the styles up there; briefs, bikini briefs, boxer briefs, trunks, jockstraps, thongs. Whatever your preference, there’s something in there for you.
I could be mistaken – the lighting in this apparent night club setting isn’t the best – but I think I even saw some of N2N’s current bestselling underwear ranges, like the Twilight and Freedom collections, on the runway as well. And I like these two ranges, especially the Twilight brief.

Can’t wait to try out the new 2011 styles :)
