Aware Soho men’s underwear: Video preview of Spring/Summer 2011 range
It’s been a while since we’ve seen some good men’s underwear videos, right?
Well, the waits is over, guys!
Today and the next few days I bring you some high quality videos featuring some of my favorite underwear brands including N2N Bodywear, Rufskin, Aussiebum and my choice of the day, Aware Soho.
If you’ve been following my posts these last couple of weeks you will have noticed my interest in this excellent brand.
I endorsed their Round Bum Shorties and loved the fact that their range is the widest I’ve ever seen in terms of available color variants.
I already posted a bunch of Aware videos with footage of their current collection. Today, however, we get a sneak peak of the spring/summer 2011 range.
That’s right – this range isn’t even available yet. You can’t your hands on any of these styles before January/February.
The video features all sorts cuts from briefs to trunks. If you like what you see, check out www.awaresoho.com to view their entire collection.
Have a nice weekend, guys, and enjoy the video.

Aware Soho Round Bum Shorties – An Xpress review from Guys’ Underwear Blog
So, did you catch the videos featuring the current Aware Soho men’s underwear collection?
Well, I’ve been lucky enough to try out a couple of items from this collection, including a pair of firetruck red Round Bum Shorties – which I decode as a low rise brief.
It’s my impression that in terms of fabric, fit, and quality this style is fairly indicative of what you generally can expect from Aware Soho underwear. And when it comes to color and design, you can have it any way you want. With 37 different color variations, the Round Bum Shorties range is endless!
Having been around since 2001, Aware Soho is somewhat of a dinosaur in the world of modern men’s underwear – and you can really sense they know what they’re doing. More about that in the review :)
Check the countless cuts and designs out at www.awaresoho.com.
| Feature | Verdict |
| Style and look | As hinted above you should decode the Round Bum Shorties category as low briefs, bordering on square cuts. The low rise look is a modern classic these days, and the styles feels and looks slightly understated, yet very masculine. The wide sides and waistband, the sufficient back coverage, and – especially – the generous, double-layered pouch make for a very attractive pair of briefs. |
| Suitable for? | The Round Bum Shorties are perfect for everyday wear. They’re made from a thick-feeling 95 % cotton and 5 % Elastane – the classic fabric combination for most men’s underwear. Don’t wear it for sports activities. Perfect for guys who are looking for a clean look and who just want a solid pair of briefs. I really like the red color – It’s my no. 1 choice when it comes to solid colored underwear this season. |
| Fit and quality? | The fit was just fine. I wore a size M for a size 32/33 inch waist. No need to size up or down. After a few washes, the fabric felt a little stiff. Make sure to follow the washing instructions and consider adding fabric softener. |
| Is the price right? | The Aware Soho Round Bum Shorties are US $27 which is a fair price. The quality/price ratio of this brief is on par with most other quality briefs in the mid-range category. |
| Best thing about it? | I really like the overall cut – the combination of a low rise cut with not too narrow sides is a stunning and classic look. Combine this with a the well-designed pouch and you have one great-looking pair of briefs. |
| Overall grade | ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ The Aware Soho Round Bum Shorties are quite the looker – a well-produced pair of masculine briefs. The many color variants are a plus, too. Next time I wash them I’ll try following the instructions more carefully so that the fabric won’t feel too stiff. |

| Typical boxer brief/trunk look with legs of proper length, ending in the mid-to-upper thigh area. Satisfactory pouch room and back coverage. A modern yet conservatively looking trunk with a discrete waistband for guys who are looking for a pair of no-bullshit basic trunks. |

Aware Autumn/Winter 2010 Men’s Underwear Collection – Part 1 of 2
Aware Soho is a men’s fashion underwear brand that has built a strong presence around the world.
Recently, Aware released a string of videos presenting their Autumn/Winter 2010 collection – see the first four below.
In the not so distant future I will be reviewing items from this collection, and from the looks of it, I’ll have something to look forward to!
Take a look at the collection at www.awaresoho.com and check out their impressively wide collection. I counted as many as 37 different variants of both their sports brief and hip trunks cuts. FYI, Aware also carries jockstraps and square cuts.
The first four videos feature a string of briefs in various colors and designs. Lines shown in the videos include Superhero in blue, Skywalker in yellow, Stardom in red, Marines in white, and AS in white.
Aware Soho sports briefs are typically around US $27.
Tomorrow’s videos will feature other styles as well, including trunks and square cuts.
Enjoy!
