Hello Gubbers! Hope you all are doing amazingly and had a great summer. I have another pair of incredible undies to share with you.
These ones are very unique.
I have had them a while but didn’t write this review right away for a few reason; which we will get to later. The underwear is the Gregg Hommes Afterhour Brief.
Now Gregg Homme has always provided us with underwear that just oozes out masculine sexuality. They manage to create that unique and rare combination of smooth elegance with a manly presence. I love Gregg Homme and if I ever meet him I will ask him to marry me.
But I have gone on enough about how I feel about this company in many of my past reviews for their underwear. Do a search of our website to read the other reviews.
So now let’s look at the Afterhour brief. I got this brief a few months ago. I’ve taken so long to write about this, and now the Homme company is already getting ready to release another new collection!
I have the khaki brief; however, it also comes in a trunk and a thong in red or black as well. The front pouch is made of a stretchy mesh material and allows you to protrude or be supported as much as your guys down there need.
The back is made with a material that looks like a net, but really is a sheer patterned fabric. The trim is in black and of course it has its signature metal Gregg Homme tab on the hip.
First of all I have to say this is the most beautiful pair of mens underwear you will ever see. I think this is what Gregg Homme has been working toward and as far as looks go I don’t see how they will ever top this.
It’s bold, daring, sexy and very masculine. What I appreciate the most about the Homme brand’s style is that it is pretty much always a very adult, sexy product that just overflows with manly energy. This pair of underwear is the epitome of that Homme style.
However… The reason it’s taken me so long to write about this particular pair of underwear is I haven’t been able to decide how I really feel about them.
Yes, they look phenomenal.
But I wore them several times and don’t find them the most comfortable things to have on. The front pouch isn’t bad. You can kind of feel the mesh on your crotch, but after a little while you don’t notice it and it feel just fine.
The sheer material with the net look, however, looks great but feels kind of rough. Maybe rough isn’t the right word, it’s not like sand paper, but you definitely can feel the pattern on the fabric against your butt.
I noticed it right away but figured it would fade as most undies with a raised pattern do. But throughout the day I could feel it, and it was kind of irritating. I think people thought I had bugs in my pant as I kept scratching my ass all day.
But again, they look good.
Like all Homme underwear, they are made of a very high standard and quality construction. They are a pair of underwear that will last you a long time. Although I wouldn’t wear them around as everyday undies I know they will make an appearance now and then just because they look so good.
I’ll just have to remember not to walk around scratching my back side.
And I have to admit this viewpoint of comfort may be relative, some guys may find them great and not even notice the fabric. I am the kind of guy who hates tags, they itch me and drive me crazy. I cut all of them out almost immediately. Other men don’t even notice them. So I may be a little sensitive to this feeling.
I still love Gregg Homme!
|Style and look?||The style and look are amazing. This is a pair of underwear that stands out in its look, even among a collection of beautiful underwear that we find with Gregg Homme. This style is the ultimate in male sexiness and masculine charm.|
|Suitable for?||For showing off. This is a pair of underwear you wear because you want to be seen. And with its sheer quality you will be seen. However, due to the lack of comfort I wouldn’t wear them as everyday underwear, nor would I want to wear them for long periods of time.|
|Fit and quality?||They fit perfectly and the quality is outstanding. The fabric and construction of the garment is really of the highest quality.|
|Is the price right?||I have seen the Afterhours collection go anywhere from $20 to $43 depending on the style you want. I would expect to spend at least $39. This price is not too bad considering the high quality and style behind the Gregg Homme name. Yet with the lack of wearablility due to its uncomfortable feel it may be a little high. Depends on your view point.|
|Best thing about it?||The look. I have said all I can about this amazing pair of underwear. It’s beautiful!|
Gregg Homme scores three stars with the Afterhours underwear collection. They have defined themselves as a brand that brings us the highest quality in the industry when it comes to a sexy manly style an d a look that screams to the world you are a man of class and flare. It is the kind of underwear you would expect to see a man who just stripped off a tux and is now lounging with a martini relaxing in. Thank you Gregg Homme for your continuance of great masculine style.
Fall is upon us. Well, not all of us.
In South Africa, this is the time of year when spring is full on. And so, our South African underwear and swimwear pet, BONE WEAR, is launching new swimwear styles.
We picked out a few photos of the new styles. Our favorite is probably the black/red/gold swim brief (the first pic).
The new styles range between $50 and $63 USD – expensive stuff, but if you want exotic, foreign swimwear, you gotta pay the price.
You can see more images and buy all the new styles over at www.bonewear.com.
“It is now time to give back to men the sexy underwear they have been craving for…” Eric Boisvert, president of Gregg Homme, announced today. “The men of today have stronger needs to seduce and they have the guts to express it: they are ready to move up one notch and it’s exactly where we are taking them.” he continues.
And so Gregg Homme introduce their newest collections which are all about sex, seduction, teasing, and revealing.
With collection names like SCANDAL, TEASE, STEAM and KINK (to name a few), it is no secrets that Gregg Homme will succeed in a field that they master quite well: making men’s blood pressure go up (or it is their partner’s?).
The “piece de resistance” is irrefutably the XCESS collection: an ultra fine gauge microfiber (goodbye fabric, hello second skin!) with a low cut front pouch enhanced with three light metal alloy X’s. Making a statement was never made that easy.
Trims and details complete this most unique new collection: innovative zippers, straps, buckles and strategically placed transparencies bring the styling and design to unparalleled zeniths. Gregg Homme surely delivers in the accesory department.
Zippers, straps and buckles really are the new black in men’s underwear fashion this fall, huh?
Well, we like it.

Jock briefs really have been the big hit so far this year in the world of men’s underwear.
And no doubt that Timoteo probably is the no 1 brand in this category. They’ve certainly got some of the widest selections of jock brief variants in the industry.
And we hear that they sell like hot cakes.
Could it have something to do with photo shoots like the one where these photos come from…? Playing on the popular locker room fantasy never fails.
Guess it doesn’t hurt either that all the Timoteo jock briefs are impressively cheap, too. Designer undies at just $22 USD – not bad.
Check out the wide selection available over at www.underbriefs.com.

Not too long ago our friends over at Aware Soho sent out a behind-the-scenes video featuring some of the styles from their autumn 2011 collection. Watch it below.
We like that Aware Soho has focused primarily on their low-rise brief cuts. In our opinion this is the style they excel at the most.
Also, we actually really like the color schemes they’ve chosen for this collection. It’s a perfect mix of warm and cool autumn colors with a sort of retro 80s look.
We’ve completely fallen for the Basketball Shorty, a brief-bordering-on-square-cut thing, styled in a warm orange color with a techni-chique waistband. It’s $28.80 USD.
Also the Lacrosse Brief in black/white/purple is a fun trip down retro lane, though this is a more modern low-rise, high-cut brief. This brief is $27.20 USD.
Anyway, check out all the new styles over at www.awaresoho.com.
Enjoy the video, guys!
Boy, the model recruiters over at International Jock sure know how to pick them…
The 4th season of 90210 premiered last week and they’ve got a new sheriff in town; southern hunk Justin Deeley has saddled up to steam up the sexiest zip code on television.
Although the show’s trailer pokes fun of his post-pool “package”, these photos of him in underwear and swimwear from International Jock indicate that he is one virile young buck.
We like his Calvin Klein Underwear pics the best!
It’s clear that this new Beverly Hills cowboy is the kind who can ride all night.
By the way, this is not the first International Jock underwear model to appear on 90210. Back in jockstrap and brief hunk April Alan Ritchson also graced television screens across America.
Want to be a TV star? Modelling for International Jock apparently does the trick!
It’s a new week, guys! And what’s better than starting off this Monday morning with some inspiring new promo pictures from the new PUMP! collections??
That’s right, PUMP! – one of our favorite Canadian men’s underwear brands – recently launched a bunch of new collections, such as the Grand Prix, Jack Of, Fresh, Midnight, and College Boy 21. In total, 7 new designs have been introduced.
The new collections are classic PUMP!. The well-known brief and boxer brief cuts are still the style of choice. Though this time around it seems they’ve been experimenting with even more playful color patterns than was the case in the fall of 2010. We like this new direction the brand is taking.
As always, the PUMP! guys have done some pretty eye-catching photography. The pictures below is only a selection, go to www.wantpump.com to see even more pictures of the new arrivals.
FYI, PUMP! briefs are between $27 and $34 CAD, boxer briefs are between $26 and $36 CAD.

Hello underwear lovers! We have another great brand of underwear to introduce you to. You may already be aware of them they have quite an international following already.
Pull-In is a brand specializing in underwear, but also offers a variety of other clothing and accessories for men, women and children. They have a very fun urban feel to them. They definitely bring out the lighter side of underwear fashion for men with a sense of humor and an aching for fun.
The Pull-In brand mainly focuses on a boxer/brief styled boxer or the “shorty” which is not too much different but more like a square cut. They also offer a brief or “slip” in several designs.
The boxer comes in 134 designs! Some come in solids, some in comic or superheroes, and some in sports teams or almost any other fun print. So you have a huge selection to choose from. This is great underwear for any man to have to bring out his personality.
I have the Fashion Neon Shorty, so that’s what I am reviewing. There are differences in the waistband, coloring and prints as well as the style; however, they have the same kind of basic design.
The print on the fashion neon is very exuberant giving you the impression of a classic 50’s drive in. It has three standard fluorescent lights; one green, one blue and one red/pink. And spread throughout the print is the occasional green noen open sign.
The material is an 85% polyester 15% Lycra blend making it very smooth, glossy and comfortable. You can also get some styles in cotton or jacquard. The waist band is an inch and a half black elastic with “pull-in” in a large subtle pink bold font with “underwear” written in a small font underneath.
On the sides of the logo are candy canes also in the same subtle pink. The stitching along the seams matches the pink in the lettering.
Since I had never worn Pull-In’s before I was very excited to try them out. The material is great and feels very silky against your skin.
They wear well, I wore them all day and gave them some pretty good use and they handled well. I love the way they look and give you that playful youthful look. The waist band is comfortable and also has a fun presence to it.
The undies are designed without much contouring. The front and back actually don’t look much different. There is no pouch so at times I did have a little slipping around going on, requiring some adjustments.
But overall the stretchiness of the fabric makes up for any lack of detailing in contour. Pull-In brand underwear is a great addition to your collection and great for days when you need a little fun in your pants.
Not that any of you need help with that.
|Style and look?||The look and style are geared to give you a young and festive look. The smooth material really brings out the bright colors and sleek attitude. The logo and surrounding décor on the waist band will show you off as a man who has style but isn’t snobby about it.|
|Suitable for?||Everyday underwear. It’s also great for any day you need a pick me up or an extra reason to smile. I would also recommend these undies for showing off. They’re great for an underwear party or other underwear event.|
|Fit and quality?||The fit is good. It could use a pouch for added support, but the material offers plenty of comfort. If you are a boxer guy you will love the feel. It’s not too restrictive and very free flowing. The quality is also very good; you will have these undies for a long time to come.|
|Is the price right?||The Pull-In Shorty comes at $39.99. That is a little expensive; however, for the quality and look you get it’s not too bad.|
|Best thing about it?||It’s funky, fun and fresh! Although there are other companies offering this kind of design I don’t see a lot with this variety or this smooth silky fabric. It is a very unique look and design.|
Pull-In get three stars for their Shorty undies. Although I didn’t try the boxer, brief or slip I am sure they all live up to this same quality and fab look. I am happy to have added this shorty to my collection and look forward to seeing where Pull-In takes us in the future. They are definitely a company to watch out for.
Watching the men’s US Open tennis final last week, we thought what great an idea it would be to team up experienced underwear model, Rafael Nadal, with the new king of tennis, Novak Djokovic.
Rafael Nadal’s career as a underwear model has been, well, so so. He just doesn’t bring the sexy like Beckham or Ronaldo.
But team him up with Serbian hottie, Novak Djokovic, and that would change in an instant.
From there our minds wondered on to the question: Has Nole (his nickname) actually ever ventured into the world underwear modeling?
Apparently, he has! Two years ago he strutted down the runway in nothing but a skimpy pair of black briefs at a fashion show in Montreal, Canada, ahead of the Rogers Cup ATP event that same year.
Should Novak’s tennis career ever fade, he could make millions as a full-on men’s underwear model.
Anyway, here’s the pic from the event. And just to be fair, we also threw in a pic featuring Rafa as well.
Happy Friday, guys!
